the Mysteries of "Who We Are"
在学期末的这场别开生面的结题展上,学校邀请家长们走进教室,一同见证孩子们在IB PYP超学科主题“我们是谁”下的学习成果。通过沉浸式的班级活动,孩子们向家长们展示了他们是如何在探究中认识自我、理解他人和世界。
At the unique closing exhibition at the end of the semester, the school invited parents to enter the classroom and witness the learning achievements of their children under the IB PYP Transdisciplinary theme of "Who We Are". Through immersive class activities, children demonstrate to parents how they understand themselves, others, and the world through exploration.
家的温度,文化的桥梁
一年级:
一年级的“建筑师”们,用稚嫩的手指搭建起世界各地的住宅模型。他们讲述着每个建筑背后的故事,让家长们深刻感受到个人身份与当地文化的紧密相连。原来,家不仅是一个居住的地方,更是文化传承的起点。
First Grade:
First-grade architects use their immature fingers to build residential models from all over the world. They tell the stories behind each building, allowing parents to deeply feel the close connection between personal identity and local culture. Initially, the home was a place to live and the starting point for cultural inheritance.
情绪的色彩,成长的画卷
二年级:
二年级的小朋友们变成了情感的调色师。他们通过粤语歌曲——《有情绪唔要紧》、绘画等多种形式,展现情绪的多样面貌,学会了倾听与表达。每一次心与心的交流,都是他们成长路上最宝贵的风景。
Second Grade:
Second-grade students have become emotional colorists. They use various forms, such as Cantonese song namely "Don't worry about emotions" and paintings to showcase the diverse aspects of emotions and learn to listen and express themselves. Every communication between hearts is the most precious scenery on their growth journey.
Third Grade
舌尖上的环球旅行
三年级
美食不只是味蕾的享受,更是文化的体现。三年级的孩子们化身小小美食家,探究世界各地的食物如何塑造人们的身份认同。一盘盘精心准备的“世界料理”,让教室变成了一个充满香气的知识乐园,他们提供了一场吃得最欢乐的“结题展示”。
Third Grade
Food is not just a pleasure for the taste buds but also a reflection of culture. Third-grade children transform into little foodies, exploring how food from around the world shapes people's identity. The meticulously prepared "World Cuisine" dishes have turned the classroom into a knowledge paradise full of fragrance, providing the most joyful "final presentation" of eating.
小小医生,大大的梦想
四年级:
走进四年级的“健康中心”,学生们摇身一变成为人体系统的小小专家。他们用生动有趣的互动游戏,展示了人体奥秘,传递健康生活的理念。这场别样的体验,让他们完全还原了整个主题的探究过程,并能做到人人能讲清楚、能具体运用“健康指引”。不论是学生还是家长,甚至是中外教老师,都参与其中。潘校长也亲身参与,接受同学们都健康指导。
Fourth Grade:
Entering the "Health Center" of the fourth grade, students transformed into small experts in the human body system. They use vivid and exciting interactive games to showcase the human body's mysteries and convey the concept of healthy living. This unique experience allowed them to fully reproduce the entire process of exploring the theme, enabling everyone to explain it clearly and apply the "Health Guidelines" in a specific way. Both students and parents, as well as Chinese and international teachers, are involved. Principal Poon J.P. also personally participated and received health guidance from students.
名人启示录,自传创作大赛
五年级:
五年级的同学们则通过阅读名人自传,与历史上的伟大心灵进行了一次跨时空的对话。他们深刻理解到,每个人的生命旅程都是独一无二的。最终,每位学生亲手创作的自传,记录着他们对自我认知的深刻探索和未来的无限憧憬。
Fifth Grade:
The fifth-grade students engaged in a cross-temporal dialogue with history's great minds by reading celebrities' biographies. They deeply understand that everyone's life journey is unique. Ultimately, each student's personally created autobiography records their profound exploration of self-awareness and infinite aspirations for the future.
This final exhibition displays students' learning achievements and witnesses their growth and progress. Let's give a thumbs up to the children's efforts and achievements together! In the future, let's continue working together and encourage children to bravely explore and feel in the ocean of knowledge with their hearts.
