“Why are we here?” At this year's Prep school Flag raising ceremony, the executive Headmaster, Dr. Wall, began his speech with a simple yet profound question.
As we commence the new academic year, the campus is once again a hive of activity. It is encouraging to observe the children's cheerful demeanor and to hear the sounds of laughter filling the classrooms. The entire school community is brimming with optimism and aspiration. It seems that many of the positive experiences today are responding to Dr wall's question.
Welcome Back, BMHers!
On Orientation Day, the new Pre School students poured coloured sand representing the values of the school into the BMH's transparent logo. Today, the returning pre school children also completed this activity. All the children completed this perfect piece of art together.
The warm and welcoming environment, coupled with the gentle guidance from our experienced teachers, facilitates a smooth transition for each child into the group setting. The children's positive demeanor and evident joy were on show in each lesson today.
In Prep School, all the teachers assembled at the school gate to greet the students. Each student received a paper aeroplane, which symbolised the aspirations for the year ahead, from the headmasters.
At today's flag-raising ceremony, we were pleased to welcome the headmaster, student representatives and parent representatives, who kindly offered their insights through speeches.
Teachers have invested significant time and effort into preparing their classrooms to welcome their students. They have decorated their classrooms with beautiful displays and have planned engaging lessons for the students.
Let's get ready for an amazing new school year!
