After a happy summer, students and teachers of VCASZ finally came back to school and gathered together for the new semester. The 2024-2025 Student-Teacher Conference was held this morning.

首先，周校长发表了热情洋溢的致辞。他欢迎了新入学的同学们，并对他们表达了殷切的期望。同时，周校长也向在场的同学们介绍了威睿达思（深圳）教师团队的老师。在致辞的最后，周校长向全体师生送上了新学期的祝福，希望大家在新的学期里能够取得更大的进步。

First of all, Tom Zhou, the principal of VCASZ, delivered a warm speech. He welcomed the new students and expressed his high expectations for them. At the same time, Tom introduced the teachers to the students. At the end of his speech, he sent his best wishes to all the students and teachers for the new semester and hoped everyone would make more progress in the new semester.

接下来是学术部负责人——Sunny老师上台发言。Sunny老师将与同学们分享关于教学政策的最新动态，以及各项学术相关制度的重要内容，为大家的学习和发展提供宝贵的指导和建议。

The second is the Head of Academic Department - Ms. Sunny, who shared with students the latest developments on teaching and learning policies, as well as the important contents of various academic-related systems, providing valuable guidance and advice for students' learning and development.

威睿达思创始人谢锁良博士来到我们的开学典礼，向全体学生送上诚挚的祝福，鼓励大家在新学期中勇敢追求知识，努力学习。谢博士还特别介绍了威睿达思的杰出录取榜单，激励同学们设定以藤校为目标的奋斗方向，鼓励大家要坚定信念，努力拼搏，朝着更高的学术理想迈进。

The founder of VCA, came to our Student-Teacher Conference to send sincere wishes to all students and encourage them to bravely pursue knowledge and study hard in the new semester. Leon also made a special presentation of VCA's outstanding admission list to motivate students to set a direction of striving for Ivy League schools, encouraging them to be firm in their beliefs, work hard, and move towards higher academic ideals.

随后，德育处的主任Alice老师从德育的角度，向同学们介绍了一些品行方面的要求与考核标准。她强调，良好的品德是每个人成长道路上不可或缺的一部分，希望同学们能够自觉遵守学校的德育规范，培养良好的行为习惯。同时，Alice老师还向大家介绍了威睿达思银行的项目。她表示，这个项目旨在帮助同学们培养好习惯，通过实际操作和体验，让同学们更好地理解并践行德育理念。

Alice, the director of the Moral Education Department, introduced to the students the requirements and assessment standards of character and behavior from the perspective of moral education. She emphasized that good character is an indispensable part of everyone's growth path, and hoped that students could consciously abide by the school's moral education norms and cultivate good behavioral habits. Meanwhile, Alice also introduced the VCA Bank program. She said that the program aims to help students develop good habits, and through practical operation and experience, students can better understand and practice the concept of moral education.

为了让同学们更好地规划自己的学习，老师们还组织大家把自己的目标、完成目标所要付出的努力，以及完成之后的自我奖励，都写在一张纸上，封存进了信封，这些信封会在学期末返还到同学们的手中，届时他们将重新启封，见证自己的成长和进步。

In order to enable students to better plan their studies, we also organized everyone to write down their goals, the effort they would have to put in to complete them, and the self-reward they would receive upon completion on a piece of paper and sealed it into envelopes, which would be returned to students at the end of the semester, when they would reopen them to witness their growth and progress.
