新学年伊始，BMH将在一至七年级推出全新的探究单元。作为教育工作者，我们始终渴望激发学生的好奇心，鼓励批判性思维，培养终身学习的热情。
本学期，我们的探究单元旨在引导学生踏上激动人心的探索之旅。我们相信，通过分享这些单元的概览，家长们可以更好地了解并参与孩子们的教育体验。
“探究单元”是BMH教育理念的核心之一，专注于通过有意义的方式将学科和概念联系起来的跨学科学习。通过这些单元，学生可以探索重要的想法、提出问题并参与实践活动，从而加深理解并发展关键技能。
我们明白，家长的参与对于支持孩子的学习之旅至关重要。因此，我们将分享每个年级第一学季探究单元的家长概览。这些概览里包括您孩子将在探究单元中探索的主题、关键概念、探究线索和可持续发展目标的详细内容。
围绕这些主题，老师们在课堂之中会一步步带领学生进入探究的世界，整个探究单元分为“导入”“探索”“调查”“沟通”四个环节，会在日常的教学中融会贯通。
而在课堂之外，我们鼓励家长有意识地与孩子讨论他们在探究单元中探索的主题，加入孩子的学习之旅。家长可以提出问题，分享自己的经验，并一起探索更多延申话题，这样的参与可以加深孩子的理解并培养他们对学习的热爱。
探究的旅程已经紧锣密鼓地开启，期待与家校协作能帮助学生快乐地踏上这段激动人心的探索之旅！
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Units of Inquiry across Prep 1 to Prep 7. As educators, we are always eager to ignite curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a lifelong love for learning in our pupils. This term, our Units of Inquiry are designed to do just that, guiding our pupils on an exciting journey of discovery. We believe that by sharing the Parent Overviews of these units, you can be better informed and engaged in your child’s educational experience.
What is the Unit of Inquiry?
Our Units of Inquiry (UOI) are central to the educational philosophy at our school, focusing on transdisciplinary learning that connects subjects and concepts in a meaningful way. Through these units, pupils explore significant ideas, ask questions, and engage in hands-on activities that lead to deeper understanding and the development of key skills.
