Having developed for 10 years, VMA has become a model of innovative international education in the Greater Bay Area. The first campus open day for the new school year will be held on October 26 (Saturday). We invite you to visit our most beautiful campus by the sea, experience real VMA classrooms, and gain a comprehensive understanding of our educational philosophy, course offerings, academic achievements, and admissions information.

The open day will feature sessions on academics and arts, with mulpiple experiential classes covering the academic and artistic premium courses to meet the diverse developmental needs of students.Besides, the principle of VMA's partner school, MounsPark Academy, was invited to come and share about the strategic partnership, and there were also a round of student art performances.

We look forward to welcoming children interested in international courses to VMA and allowing them to say hi to their future teachers in advance!The registration channel for the open day is now open, and families interested in learning about VMA are welcome to sign up.

On September 18, the student union president and minister election was held in the VMA second-floor lobby, with seven candidates participating. Among them, Wang Dawei, Zhang Shiwang, Liang Jieyi, and Lu Zuda were candidates for the president team, while Zhong Huiqi, Huang Ruofei, and Pan Duanhan were candidates for ministers. Each candidate introduced their experiences and articulated strategies for organizational development, community service, and promoting school growth. All teachers and students watched their speeches and voted, making this an important opportunity to enhance student participation and leadership skills in the community.

At the start of the school year, VMAA welcomed its first masterclass of the year, hosted by Professor Inesa Sinkevych, joint director of the piano department at Manhattan School of Music. She conducted master guidance sessions and a lecture concert. Professor Inesa provided one-on-one in-depth masterclass guidance for two Y4 students and also shared insights on piano performance during a public concert, covering everything from stylistic introductions to practice techniques. Both teachers and students found it immensely beneficial.

On the evening of September 7, the teachers and students of VMAA were invited by the Baoan District Government to perform on the stage of the Baoan District Cultural Center, presenting a splendid “Spring Blossoms and Autumn Fruits - String Ensemble Concert”. That night, VMA teachers and students not only performed numerous classic works but also interpreted various folk tunes, showcasing diverse styles and continuous surprises.

A+ Gallery recently held an exhibition of VMAA student works from the graphic studio course, running until October 11. The graphic studio course is one of the core offerings of the VMAA visual arts department, designed to help students master the basic principles of graphic art and design thinking, while learning to apply these skills in different contexts.

This school year, to further create English learning environments, enhance the adaptation of lower-grade students, and strengthen teacher-student interaction, VMA implemented and continuously optimized the daily homeroom meeting program starting from the first week of school. Under the guidance of Dean Jordon, 17 mentors and 10 Home-room teachers (all conducting classes and activities in English) collaborated effectively to establish a complete structure and weekly topics. The 10 Home-room teachers will develop and rotate the morning meeting curriculum based on specific topics each week.
