品牌升级

Originating in Shekou, flourishing in Bao’an, and embracing the world! As Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) approaches its 20th anniversary, we are excited to announce a series of innovative initiatives. Our Shekou main campus now offers IB courses from preschool through eighth grade, along with full-time foreign teacher daycare classes for children as young as 1.5 years old. Meanwhile, our new Bao’an campus provides a comprehensive boarding program for students from sixth grade through twelfth grade, featuring a diverse curriculum that includes HKDSE, IB, AP, and A Level courses.

起源蛇口，绽放宝安，拥抱世界！在深美即将20周年之际，深美推出了一系列品牌升级方案：蛇口主校区开设从学前班到初中8年级的IB课程和美国州际Common Core核心课程，新增低至1.5岁的外教全天托育班；宝安新校区开设从初中6年级到高中12年级的寄宿项目，除IB、AP、A Level课程外，新增HKDSE课程。

The first Nanshan campus was established in 2005 from daycare to high school day programs.

Teacher student ratio: 1:4-1:6, kindergarten and primary department adopts double homeroom teachers system. There are two teachers which are a foreign teacher and a Chinese teacher in each classroom. And additional childcare teacher work for kindergarten.

Admission application fee: 2000 yuan (this fee is a one-time fee valid for one year and non refundable)

Development fund fee: 20000 yuan (this fee is a one-time fee used to support the school's investment in campus facilities, the use of teaching equipment, and consumables during the learning process. This fee is only charged to new students)

入学申请费：2千元（此费用为一次性费用，有效期为一年，不可退还）

发展基金费：2万元（此费用为一次性费用，用于支持学校对校园设施的投入、教学设备的使用，以及学习过程中的消耗品，此费用仅向新生收取）

校车服务

This service is only available to students at Shekou Main Campus. Currently, school bus routes cover some areas of Nanshan, Futian, and Bao'an. The annual school bus fee is set based on the school bus route and area, including daily morning and afternoon shuttle services (each school bus is equipped with professional accompanying teachers)

住宿服务

This service is only available to students in Bao'an New Campus, Students in grade 6 and above can apply for accommodation. 

This project is a year-round boarding program that includes providing students with characteristic courses during boarding time, self-study management, three meals a day, comfortable boarding facilities, and a full range of boarding services.

Diversity: A Rich Array of Thematic Activities!

At SAIS, our curriculum is both flexible and diverse, encompassing a wide range of textbooks, after-school programs, on-campus activities, and social practice opportunities. We place a strong emphasis on sports development, offering not only regular physical education classes but also unique options like golf and squash at our Shekou campus, where several students have excelled, winning over 60 national competition championships.

To cater to various age groups, SAIS organizes a variety of monthly activities both on and off-campus. On-campus events include international cultural festivals, creative science exhibitions, crazy hair days, and the Mid-Autumn Garden Party. Off-campus, students engage in enriching experiences such as Little Firefighter, I Am an Artist, Museum of Knowledge, and Ocean Conservation Day. Additionally, Shenmei fosters community engagement by involving students and teachers in activities that promote care and responsibility, such as charity sports games, Mental Health Month, and the English Reading Corner. Through these community service initiatives, we aim to cultivate a strong sense of citizenship and social responsibility in our students.

The kindergarten at SAIS is a standout feature of our early childhood program. Alongside English and Chinese language instruction—aligned with U.S. standards—our curriculum is enriched by daily Chinese lessons and other subjects taught by foreign teachers. Within the IB PYP framework, we focus on Units of Inquiry (UOI) tailored for young learners. Each UOI begins with a central question, encouraging children to explore through play, ask questions, and share their discoveries.
