Shekou International School's Primary students recently hosted a captivating candlelight recital that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 joined forces to grace the stage, and we were honoured to welcome teachers and students from Yucai No. 3 Primary School to join us, creating a delightful experience through the universal language of music.

We proudly watched young musicians showcase their exceptional talents during the three-day candlelight recitals. Parents immersed themselves in a sea of music, sharing cherished moments with their children and celebrating their achievements.  

The concert featured a series of dazzling performances:

Young pianists bathed in the glow of candlelight and danced their fingers across the keys with grace.

Violin melodies flowed like a babbling brook.

The sounds of the flute and clarinet 

were long and lingering.

The concert was brought to life with many varied performances.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the parents for their unwavering support of their children's musical journeys. Your encouragement—through coursework, practice sessions, private lessons, and event participation— laid the foundation for their growth and success.

SIS is committed to offering our students a diverse and personalised growth space. In addition to the termly candlelight concerts, we provide various music clubs, such as the Gecko Junior Strings (GJS), Shekou International School Orchestra (SISO), Gecko Orff Ensemble and Choir, and the Drama Club, aimed at inspiring students to explore and express their musical passions and talent.  

Together, we look forward to these young musicians continuing to shine brightly in their artistic journeys.

近期，深圳市蛇口外籍人员子女学校小学部的学生们举办了一场别开生面的烛光音乐会，给在场的每一位观众都留下了深刻的印象。一年级至五年级的学生们携手登台，我们更特别邀请到了育才三小师生们的加入，共享音乐盛会。音乐，这门世界共同的语言，将大家紧紧相连，共同编织了一场愉悦的心灵体验之旅。 

在这三天的烛光音乐会中，我们自豪地见证了年轻音乐家展现的非凡才华。家长们沉浸在音乐的海洋中，与孩子们一同沉浸在珍贵的时光中，共同庆祝他们每一个表演成果。 

烛光音乐会演出亮点纷呈： ： 

钢琴少年在烛光的映照下，

手指在琴键上轻盈跳跃。

小提琴的旋律如潺潺流水般悠扬。 

长笛和单簧管的乐声悠长而缠绵，令人陶醉。 

音乐会因众多多样化的表演而生动鲜活。 

我们衷心感谢家长们对孩子音乐之路的坚定支持。你们的鼓励 - 无论是课程学习、练习时段、私人课程，还是活动参与 - 都为他们的成长和成功铺设了坚实的基石。

除每学期烛光音乐会之外，我们还设立了丰富多彩的音乐俱乐部，包括Gecko Junior String 弦乐团（GJS）、蛇口外籍人员子女学校管弦乐团（SISO）、 Gecko Orff Ensemble and Choir合唱团，以及戏剧俱乐部。这些俱乐部活动旨在激励学生的音乐热情，鼓励他们勇敢探索并尽情展现自己的音乐才华。
