We are pleased to share that the return of our Music Salon concert in November was a resounding success.
Last term, we had the privilege of enjoying a variety of performances by our young musicians showcasing their talents on a range of instruments, dances, and songs. Their outstanding performances left a lasting impression. So, this term we encourage all of our talented children to seize this opportunity to experience the power of music that sprouts from their bodies under the spotlight.
Vocals/《The National Flag》
This was the initial occasion on which P1B children took part in a public performance. The children sang the song 'National Flag is so Beautiful' with their distinctive vocal tones, simultaneously performing the elements of the national flag, the golden star and the red cloud with their visual dance movements. This demonstrated their simple yet patriotic feelings, which was met with warm applause from the students and their parents.
P3B's David performed for the second time at the concert, showcasing a repertoire of Jay Chou's music. It appeared that he was also inspired by Jay Chou's work, demonstrating a drive to succeed through the influence of his idol. His drumming and upbeat performance, which featured single clicks, double clicks, and scrolling techniques, has left us eager to see what he will bring to the table in the years to come.
Simon in P4A and Sofia in P3B are good friends and members of the school choir. This was the inaugural occasion for both performers to take to the stage at the concert to present a duet. Simon and Sofia demonstrated excellent vocal compatibility, with Simon's voice being notably fresh and bright, and Sofia's voice light and elegant, which complemented the lyrics of the song 'Small Pond' perfectly.

《Flying Dream Girls-Pinocchio》
Jessie and Eliezabeth are so devoted to the Phi Dream Girls dance that they practise together daily. They look like twins on stage, with stylish costumes, elegant dance moves and vivid expressions. Their skirts flow with their steps, evoking a sense of grace and elegance. Every turn and jump is imbued with youthful energy and a refined dance style.

《 Memories of Childhood》
P4A's Coco has been learning the piano for over two years and took the opportunity of the concert to demonstrate her progress. The melody of 'Memories of Childhood' is gentle and nostalgic, evoking memories of simpler times. Each melody seems to tell a story, drawing the listener back to their childhood and immersing them in a sense of carefree beauty.
This was the second occasion on which P4B's Angelina had performed at the concert, and on this occasion she had set herself an even more challenging objective. The performance included accurate Japanese lyrics, spirited and playful dance moves, lively musical instruments and intriguing magic tricks, creating a visually engaging spectacle.

《W. A. Mozart Piano Sonata
in D Major, K. 284 No.1》
Jay, P5A, is the undisputed Prince of Piano at BMH, and as the finale performer, he demonstrated the excellence that has become his hallmark. Mr. Jay's performance of the first movement of Mozart's Sonata in D Major, KV284, is considered one of the more complex and technically demanding of Mozart's piano sonatas. Mr. Jay has demonstrated excellent finger independence and clear tonal control, particularly in his ability to alternate between bass and treble. Additionally, he has a unique understanding and expressiveness of Mozart's musical style. Upon completion of the performance, the audience offered a resounding round of applause.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those involved in the production of BMH's musical events, both on and off stage. Your efforts have made this event a resounding success. The next concert is in the pipeline and all talented children are welcomed to attend and participate in this special event.
