During the Harvest Collection this year, we ran a friendly competition between the grade levels. As you can see from the results below, Grade 12 donated the most in terms raw total, as well as per capita. Great work, Grade 12. What is even better is that this food will directly contribute to achieving UN Sustainability Goal 2 – Zero Hunger. The food will feed 500 people over the winter. #goGeckos

The Geckos traveled to Hong Kong Academy for the Orange Division HS Volleyball Tournament last week. Many connected with old friends from past events while plenty of new friendships were made during the four-day event. Our teams were successful with the girls bringing home a Championship and the boys winning both 3rd place, and the Spirit of ACAMIS Award, awarded to the team that displayed the most sportsmanlike behavior during the event. A special shoutout to Helene J., Ana P., Conrad T., & Doeon K. for their All-Tournament recognition.

壁虎运动员们上周前往香港学院参加橙色分区高中排球锦标赛。大家又遇到了曾经在活动中相识的老朋友们，也在为期四天的活动中收获了新的友谊。我们的球队大获成功，女队赢得了冠军，男队获得第三名和在比赛中表现出最具体育精神的学术精神奖。我们特别为获得全锦赛认可得的 Helene J, Ana P, Conrad T & Doeon K 同学喝彩。 

In our well-being sessions, G12 students chose from a variety of activities that helped them focus on physical or mental health. Our social-emotional sessions were a platform for understanding vital life skills such as managing healthy relationships, meal planning and cooking. Students also had daily independent study sessions under the supervision of Diploma Programme teachers where they were able to progress on coursework such as IAs. They have also had some university counselling sessions with SIS’s College and Careers counselor, Pam Tan. The week will wrap up on Friday with a reflection session and party, before students face the final few weeks of the semester until exams in December.

在我们的健康课程中，G12的同学从各种活动中选择参与，帮助自己专注于提升身心健康。我们的社交情感课程是了解重要生活技能的平台，例如健康关系管理、烹饪和膳食计划。同学们还在文凭课程教师的指导下开展为进一步完成如IA等课程任务的日常独立学习。他们还与学校的升学与职业顾问Pam Tan老师进行大学升学咨询。周五的总结课程和派对将本周活动拉下序幕，随后同学们将完成学期最后几周以及12月的考试。
