家长如何了解孩子的在园学习?
金风送爽,金生学习者社区的结题盛宴如约而至。金生认同IB PYP项目“评估应以有意义的方式与学习相联系”的观点,随着各级组主题探究学习即将告一段落,我们把丰富有趣、互动性强的结题活动作为评估方式之一,协助孩子通过自信大方的表达向学习者社区成员汇报学习旅程中的所思所得。
The Golden Breeze has brought us a great deal of excitement as the King's Learner Community celebrates the IB end of theme. King's agrees with the IB PYP program that “assessment should be connected to learning in a meaningful way”. As the IB transdisciplinary inquiry learning for all levels is coming to an end, we have used a fun and interactive IB end of theme activity as one of the assessment methods to help the children to report back to the community members on what they have thought and gained from their learning journeys through their confident and generous expressions.

生命的每个时期都蕴藏着独特的魅力与精彩。K3的孩子们在广博的探索中,认识了世界从最初的单细胞生物到出现人类的整个演化历程;了解到生物从诞生直至死亡,各个环节都潜藏着大自然的密码:他们亲身制作酵素和毛豆腐,探索自然界动物利用伪装进行自我保护的现象,学习提取香蕉和草莓DNA,尝试进行酵母菌实验,分享种植蘑菇的乐趣……真的要为这一群及时反思、勤于思考、知识渊博的K3孩子们送上一百个赞!
Each period of life contains unique charm and excitement. K3 children explored a wide range of topics and learned about the entire evolution of the world from the first single-celled organisms to the emergence of human beings; they understood that nature's codes lurked in all aspects of living things, from birth to death; They made enzymes and beancurd, explored the phenomenon of animals using camouflage for self-protection in nature, learned how to extract DNA from bananas and strawberries, attempted yeast experiments, and shared the fun of growing mushrooms. ...... We really want to give a hundred kudos to this group of K3 children who are timely in their reflections, diligent in their thinking, and knowledgeable in their work!

人际关系是K2这学期首个超学科探究单元。他们围绕形式、功能、联系等特定概念探究「人际关系如何影响我们的康乐」,并采取了丰富的实际行动:和好朋友交换心爱的礼物、动手制作“朋友圈”、用“五指法”解决社交冲突等。孩子们用图画或符号的方式表达对人际关系的理解,还能在富有挑战的合作与竞争中解决问题,真是太厉害啦!
Relationships is the first transdisciplinary theme of inquiry for K2 this semester. They explored how relationships affect our well-being by focusing on specific concepts such as form, function and connection, and took a variety of practical actions: exchanging a favorite gift with a good friend, making a “Wechat moment”, resolving a social conflict by using the Five Finger Technique, and so on. The children were able to express their understanding of relationships through pictures and symbols, as well as solving problems through challenging cooperation and competition!

K1的孩子们刚刚经历了一场有关自我探究的旅程。他们通过细胞闯关、拼贴五官、药膳搭配、创意PHONICS等丰富体验,探究人体的奥秘。结题互动中,爸爸妈妈们忙碌并惊喜着:和孩子合作画出身体的轮廓;提问他们关于消化系统、呼吸系统、免疫系统的知识;一起翻阅作品集,倾听他们的探究心得;用趣味五官手环来评价他们的表现……奇怪,他们是什么时候悄悄长大,变得这么能干了呢?
The children of K1 have just experienced a journey about self-inquiry. They explored the mysteries of the human body through rich experiences such as cell intrusion, a collage of the five senses, medicinal food matching and creative PHONICS. During the interaction of the IB end of theme, mothers and fathers were busy and pleasantly surprised: working with their children to draw the outline of the body; asking them about the digestive system, respiratory system and immune system; flipping through the portfolios together and listening to their explorations; and evaluating their performances with the fun five senses bracelets. ...... It is strange when did they grew up and became so capable?

PN级组开展的是以感官体验为主的探究学习。孩子们自制声音感官瓶,和同伴进行有趣的合奏;亲近阳光与户外,用眼睛观察光影的奥秘;探索触觉箱,感受各种材质的不同;创意搭配捡拾的自然物件进行创作,真是妙趣横生!孩子们利用自然环境提供的各种官能刺激,促进感官的发展,全面认识和理解世界。
The PN level group carried out inquiry learning with a focus on sensory experiences. The children made their own sound sensory bottles and had fun ensembles with their peers; they got close to the sunshine and the outdoors to observe the mystery of light and shadow with their eyes; they explored the tactile box to feel the difference of various materials; and they creatively utilized found natural objects to create their own creations. It was all very fun! Children used the various sensory stimuli provided by the natural environment to promote the development of their senses and to know and understand the world in a holistic manner.

小金宝们越来越适应幼儿园生活啦!过去的几周,他们探索了不同的专题,发展起丰富的感知能力。他们挑战“投喂”小动物,发展投掷能力;创意运用交通工具,用车轮画记录下缤纷的色彩;在感官盆中进行火山泡泡实验,观察形状与颜色的变化.....宝贝们在多样的探索中充分展现对周遭世界的好奇。
Little King’s smart babies are getting more and more comfortable with King’s life! Over the past few weeks, they have explored different topics and developed a wide range of sensory skills. They have taken on the challenge of “feeding” animals to develop their throwing skills; they have made creative use of vehicles to record the colorfulness of their wheel paintings; and they have experimented with volcano bubbles in their sensory tubs to observe the changes in shapes and colors. ..... The children's curiosity about the world around them is fully demonstrated through a variety of explorations.
