Dear families, 

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) brings together dedicated parents from across the school to collaborate with the Head of School on community initiatives and opportunities for school enhancement.  

亲爱的家长，

家长咨询委员会汇聚了来自各个校区的热心家长们，与总校长携手合作，共同推进社群倡议，探寻提升学校的良机。

The discussions at this meeting are summarised here: 

• The PAC highlighted that there are strong communication channels from the school through the divisional newsletters. 

• The PAC shared that there is strong community support and value placed in the way SIS nurtures students' skills in leadership, public speaking, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, and confidence. 

• The PAC suggested offering opportunities for more college-related information sessions for parents of middle school children and opportunities to attend celebrations of learning for parents in Secondary school. 

本次会议讨论要点汇总如下：

• 家长咨询委员会（PAC）特别指出，学校通过学部通讯成功搭建了顺畅的沟通桥梁。

• PAC欣喜地分享，社区对SIS在培养学生领导力、公众演讲技巧、团队协作能力、批判性思维、创造力、好奇心以及自信心方面的努力给予了高度的支持和赞誉。

• 此外，PAC还建议为中学生家长增设更多与大学相关的信息交流会议，并创造机会让中学生家长也能参与学校的学习庆祝活动。

As part of today’s professional development day, all education staff were involved in the WASC self-study, a collaborative process where our school reviews programs, goals, and student outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. This helps us align with international standards, enhancing learning and well-being for all students.
