视觉艺术家ETEL Adnan擅长用明亮的色彩和抽象的几何元素进行表达。创作始于模仿,终于独创,在欣赏完ETEL Adnan的代表作之后,孩子们开始动手剪切这些充满情感色彩的符号,在平面空间发挥想象,融合自己对色彩的理解,进行了趣味肖像的创意拼接。看!这个肖像小人儿是不是很酷?

Visual artist Etel Adnan specializes in bright colors and abstract geometric elements. Creation begins with imitation and ends with originality. After appreciating Etel Adnan's masterpieces, the children began to cut these emotionally charged symbols, using their imagination in flat space and integrating their own understanding of color to create a creative patchwork of fun portraits. Look! Isn't this little landscape cool?





情感是艺术家的灵感源泉。毕加索、梵高、草间弥生......随着对艺术家作品风格的不断深入探索,孩子们开始内省自己的情感体验,用画笔表达内心感受。原来,色彩和线条不仅是表达的工具,还是艺术疗愈的情感密码。

Emotion is a source of inspiration for artists. Picasso, Van Gogh, Yayoi Kusama ...... As they continue to explore the styles of the artists' works, children begin to reflect on their own emotional experiences and express their inner feelings with their paintbrushes. It turns out that color and line are not only tools for expression, but also emotional codes for artistic healing.



在「我们如何表达自己」的超学科主题中,孩子们重点学习了IB五大技能中的交流技能(符号探索和表达)和思考技能(创造性思考、信息传递)。

In the transdisciplinary theme of 'How we express ourselves', children focused on communication skills (symbolic exploration and expression) and thinking skills (creative thinking, information transfer) of the five IB skills.



原始人、古埃及人、我们的先辈,都曾经为后人留下了独特的符号与印记。这些壁画从何而来?孩子们观看录像,想象不同符号的含义和背后的故事。透过斑驳的图案,孩子们穿越回千百年前的历史与文化,感知不同时代人们的生活图景,拓展了对艺术功能的认知。

Our ancestors, including primative people and ancient Egyptians, have left unique symbols and marks for future generations. Where did these murals come from? Children watched videos and imagined the meanings of different symbols and the stories behind them. Through the mottled patterns, the children traveled back to the history and culture of thousands of years ago. They perceived the life of people in different times and expanded their understanding of the function of art.







《千里江山图》的温润和谐,日式浮世绘的独具一格,中国古典乐器的高雅祥和,西方交响曲的震撼人心......在不同国别与文化之间,孩子们感受和体验美的独特与多元。不仅如此,他们还了解到更多艺术品背后的故事:《千里江山图》的青绿色调竟来自于矿石;日式浮世绘是通过木刻版画多次印刷而成的;中国传统乐器有非常多的种类......

The warmth and harmony of “A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains”, the uniqueness of Japanese ukiyo-e, the elegance and peacefulness of Chinese classical instruments, and the stunning beauty of Western symphonies. ...... Among different countries and cultures, children feel and experience the uniqueness and diversity of beauty. Not only that, they also learned more about the stories behind the artworks: the lime green color of “Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains” comes from ores; Japanese ukiyo-e is made through woodcut prints printed many times; there are many kinds of traditional Chinese musical instruments ......



在K3幼儿艺术领域的发展目标中,孩子不仅对艺术进行欣赏和理解,还学会了运用丰富的材料进行关于艺术的创造性表达——艺术就在我们身边。

In the K3 Early Childhood Art Developmental Goals, children are encouraged to not only appreciate and understand art, but also to learn to use a wealth of materials for creative expression of art - art is all around us.




孩子们用毛线编织了「多巴胺魔法椅」,在班级门口创建了光影拍照区,接着,光影变幻的艺术又进一步引发了他们的好奇心...

The children knitted “feel good chairs” with wool and created a light and shadow photo area in front of the class.Then, the art of light and shadow further aroused their curiosity...




金生也有专门的艺术家“引路人”。我们的视觉艺术老师带领孩子们进行了集体创作,收集了快递盒的废弃泡沫板,通过裁切和涂色将其创作为《消融的冰山》,激发了学习者社区成员们对环境保护的思考。

King’s also has a dedicated artist “guide”. Our visual arts teacher led the children in a group art project, collecting discarded foam boards from delivery boxes and cutting and coloring them into “melting icebergs,” which inspired members of the learner community to think about environmental protection.
