The World Scholar's Cup is a global academic competition for primary and secondary students, originating in the United States and officially supported by Yale University. It covers six major academic areas: Science & Technology, Social Studies, History, Art & Music, Literature & Media, and Special Areas. The competition includes four core events: Scholar's Bowl, Collaborative Writing, Scholar's Challenge, and Team Debate. Each year, the event attracts nearly 60,000 students from over 70 countries and 140 cities. The competition structure includes 140 regional rounds and six global rounds, culminating in the Tournament of Champions at Yale University.
In the World Scholar's Cup Shenzhen Regional Round, The King’s School Shenzhen (KSS) made a remarkable debut, achieving outstanding results. Amidst fierce competition from students around the globe, KSS students won a total of 3 trophies, 36 gold medals, and 33 silver medals. Additionally, 5 of their teams have qualified for the global round, showcasing the academic strength and competitive spirit of KSS students
