As the school term draws to a close, we find ourselves on the cusp of the Chinese New Year. On the final day of the term, BMHers enjoyed a joyful and convivial time together. The events provided an opportunity for reflection on the past year and a celebration of the forthcoming New Year.
Pre school's New Year activities enabled children to engage with traditional culture in a fun and interactive way. The children were greeted by the arrival of the New Year with Chinese customs and special games, and gained insight into the warmth and wisdom of Chinese New Year traditions.
The Chinese New Year is of the greatest significance to the Chinese, and the most profound meaning of the New Year to them is 'reunion'. On the final day of the term, the teachers and students came together to participate in games, creating a festive atmosphere and sharing blessings and joy.
In the classroom, teachers had meticulously planned a variety of festive activities for the children. The children participated in the rituals of the Year of the Snake, engaging with traditional customs and experiencing the charm of Chinese culture.
The students of the Prep and Senior schools concluded the term by showcasing their academic achievements and talents. At the awards ceremony, the students were recognised for their exceptional achievements and behaviour. This is an excellent incentive for their ongoing development and will motivate them to continue to strive for excellence.

In addition, the exceptional performances of all grades showcased their remarkable achievements in holistic development. The children demonstrated remarkable confidence on stage, receiving applause for their outstanding performances, which included moving songs and dances, superb instrumental music, and creative Chinese drama. These performances fully demonstrated their talents and potential.
We would like to thank you all for your hard work over the past term and for creating such a memorable experience for the BMH community. We wish that in the new year, you will continue to display such agility and resourcefulness as you have done in the past, and I wish you all the best for the future.
