Harrow Shenzhen celebrates its first graduate, Tiger L. He has received an offer to study Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London, which is currently ranked No. 2 globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025.
Imperial College London has 15 Nobel laureates among its alumni, professors, and researchers. Notable Chinese alumni include Huang Weilu, a key figure in China's "Two Bombs, One Satellite" programme. He is also a renowned expert in automatic control and missile technology.

5年前，Tiger在一所美式国际学校陷入了迷茫：“美式教育在课程设置和学业监督体系上给了我太多自由，却也让我失去了方向，学习进度严重滞后。”
转学哈罗深圳后，他找回了学术锚点。在哈罗深圳小班制的教学体系里，老师们为Tiger量身定制的学术进阶之路，一步步的督导他在IGCSE阶段拿到8个A*/A的优异成绩。

Five years ago, Tiger found himself struggling at an American-curriculum school: "The excessive freedom in course selection and the lack of academic supervision derailed my progress." His transfer to Harrow Shenzhen proved transformative. Through bespoke learning pathways and the school's small-class mentorship, Tiger achieved 8 A*/A grades at IGCSE.
His A-Level combination (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science) strategically aligned with his aspirations in robotics and coding.
British education operates like precision gears. Each module interlocks towards defined objectives – the structured autonomy I craved.

在哈罗深圳，学术卓越只是“超级课程”的冰山一角，我们同样重视领航力教育和课外拓展。
Tiger 在十二年级时，亲手打造了哈罗深圳首个学生主导的“格斗机器人制作”课程。从零开始，他自主编写了为期两学期的课程大纲，涵盖电子编程、Python 控制代码、攻防策略设计等核心内容，带领十余名学弟学妹深入拆解机器人设计的底层逻辑，启发他们的工程思维。
Tiger同时还在独立研究Arduino、Mindstorms等工具，开发智能升降储物柜项目。这是一款自动化家用设备，技术方案上通过Arduino控制板+压力传感器+算法，解决小空间家庭收纳痛点，展示工程与AI结合潜力。

At Harrow Shenzhen, academic excellence is the pinnacle of our "Super Curriculum" iceberg. In Year 12, Tiger pioneered the school's first student-led "Combat Robotics" programme. He designed a 20-week syllabus that covered Python-controlled actuators and tactical design.

His independent research includes developing a smart lift storage cabinet using Arduino microcontrollers and pressure sensors. This AI-enhanced solution is designed for compact living spaces.

At Imperial, Tiger plans to specialise in automation and AI integration. He is currently working on an AI-powered essay grading tool, inspired by teachers' late-night marking marathons. He also envisions "democratising educational assessment through machine learning".
The commercialisation of AI in both domestic and industrial robotics will be my focus.
