MYPX 2025: A Showcase of Global Citizenship|2025 MYPX
On Monday, ISNS proudly celebrated its annual MYP Exhibition (MYPX), a signature event that marks the culmination of learning for our Middle Years Programme students. The day was split into two significant showcases: the Grade 10 Personal Projects in the morning, and the Grade 9 Community Projects in the afternoon. Together, these events reflected the diversity of interests, creativity, and global-mindedness of our students.
A Journey of Individual Exploration
The Personal Project is the final project of the IB Middle Years Programme and a significant student-led inquiry where learners explore an area of personal interest. Over several months, our Grade 10 students researched, designed, created, and reflected on projects that were as varied and unique as they are. This year’s topics included:
Whether it was a multimedia project, a physical product, or a creative performance, each endeavor was a result of months of planning, researching, iterating, and reflecting. Students learned to manage their time independently, overcome challenges, and dive deeply into their interests while applying the MYP Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills and connecting their work to the IB Global Contexts.
The afternoon was dedicated to our Grade 9 Community Projects, which focus on service as action and encourage students to address real-life needs in their communities. These collaborative projects showed our students’ capacity for empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving. Highlights from this year include:
These projects not only demonstrated strong inquiry and communication skills but also an inspiring commitment to improving the lives of others. From organizing clubs and donation drives to educational campaigns and awareness events, our students made real contributions to their communities.
A Community Effort and a Celebration of Learning
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our teachers and mentors who guided students through this months-long process, as well as the parents and peers who came to celebrate the final presentations.
The MYPX is a true embodiment of the IB learner profile in action—students demonstrating themselves as thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, and caring individuals. We are immensely proud of every student who participated and look forward to seeing how these experiences will shape their future learning paths.
Congratulations to all our Grade 9 and 10 students on a successful MYPX 2025!
