We are delighted to announce that children from the BMH Pre school have achieved outstanding success at the 4th PEACE ART International Children‘s Art Competition, securing multiple awards including the prestigious Grand Prize, Gold and Silver medals. Their success is attributable to their imagination and creativity. The Competition, initiated by the UNESCO Center for Peace, recevied works by children from over 20 countries worldwide.
The children's art, while simple in technique, is full of heart. The unique perspective of these artists is reflected in their depictions of figures holding hands, birds under blue skies, or vibrant gardens. Painting provides a natural means of communication and self-expression. Their lines and colours convey keen observation and genuine kindness.
At BMH, children's artwork is integral to the learning environment, adorning hallways, classrooms, and common areas. These creations document their observations, thoughts, and feelings, fostering a creative atmosphere where appreciation for beauty and confidence grow naturally.
At BMH, professional Atelierista provides art instruction for students from Pre-K onwards. Ms Mantee is a valuable collaborator in supporting children's creative development. She recognises the boundless imagination of her students, engaging with them to discuss ideas and provide guidance on how to transform their visions into art.
These international awards represent a significant milestone in the children's artistic development, providing a foundation for their future aspirations. We are extremely proud of their achievement. BMH is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where each child is seen, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.
