At the recently concluded 34th Luohu District Primary and Secondary School Athletics Meet, the Track and Field Team of Huamei Foreign Language School's Senior High Division made a historic debut!
As a team participating in the meet for the first time, we were up against seasoned and strong opponents. However, the athletes of Huamei showed no fear. They watered their dreams with sweat and wrote their youth with perseverance, sweeping up a remarkable "Huamei Whirlwind" on the field and achieving outstanding results!

Gathering all her strength for a fierce throw, student Yu Siqi claimed the 5th place in the Senior High Girls' Shot Put!
The relay dream team composed of four students—Lin Rongkai, Yu Yixiang, Tang Runshan, and Liu Yuantong—showed perfect teamwork amid the collision of speed and passion, and bravely seized the 4th place in the Senior High Boys' 4x100m Relay!
With a light yet powerful take-off, student Shen Peichao won the 5th place in the Senior High Boys' High Jump!
Student Xie Mingze traced a graceful arc above the sandpit and secured the 8th place in the Senior High Boys' Long Jump!

What is even more amazing is that all the athletes representing our school this time are from the Senior One class! Despite having limited training time and little experience in major competitions, they rose to the pressure and surpassed themselves. The achievement they have made is truly hard-earned and of great value!
This glory belongs not only to the athletes who sweated it out on the field, but also to the sports coaching team that worked silently behind the scenes. Moreover, it is a remarkable achievement of Huamei Foreign Language School’s commitment to the "simultaneous development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education" (Wuyubeiju) and its high emphasis on students’ all-round development. Students of our school have delivered outstanding performances in various sports competitions at the international, national, provincial, municipal, and district levels, and sports have become another stage for Huamei students to showcase their talents.
