Over ten years, the story of BMH has never been about milestones or numbers . It has always been about people—those who built, who believed, and who grew alongside us. This anniversary was not simply an event; it was a gathering of shared purpose and long-held trust.
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Michael Punt and Ms. Tanya Hill from Bromsgrove School UK, colleagues from Mission Hills Hainan School, partner schools, alumni, families, and every student who continues to shape the life of this campus.
For one evening, two thousand lives converged—different journeys, one community.
A Celebration of
Art, Youth, and Growth
The true stars of the evening were our students—confident, gracious, courageous. Through song, dance, drama, recitation, and sports, they offered their most heartfelt birthday gift to their school.

When the familiar school song echoed again, sung by our Prep school choir, memories and time gently unfolded— not only for those present, but for every BMH heart near and far.
Since our beginning in 2015, we have watched thousands of children grow from first words to soaring dreams. The youngest performers reminded us of the school’s earliest beauty—pure, hopeful, full of light.
The full-English productions of Romeo and Juliet and The Wizard of Oz received resounding applause, demonstrating our students’ expressive power and their limitless international potential.
The dance piece The Vibrant Green blended classical Chinese elegance with youthful spirit. The recitation Proud to Bromsgrovian spoke the identity we all share. And The Power in Me rang strong and bright, celebrating the strength of every growing life. Here, Eastern depth and Western expression meet, merge, and illuminate one another.
Performances such as To Create Billion Tons of Light and Sports Club Show showcased the vitality and creative force of BMH youth— a testament to holistic growth in its fullest sense.

For a decade, we have adhered to the educational philosophy of "People-Oriented, Diversified Development" and the educational philosophy of "Joyful Learning, Fulfilling Education", and we have contributed a wonderful chapter to Shenzhen's private education.

BMH offers a wide range of courses and activities, including academic and artistic pursuits, as well as sports and extracurricular activities. These are designed to nurture and enhance the unique talents of each child.
More than 10 years ago, I remember standing on this empty plot of land, dreaming of the endless global possibilities we can bring to next generations here, without having them to leave home too early and also leveraging the amazing opportunities from Mission Hills community.

Beyond the stage, the Ten-Year Retrospective and Art Exhibition allowed us to revisit the courage, persistence, and companionship that built our school. Every photograph, every artwork, every record tells the story of how far we have come together.
Each student received a commemorative tin bookmark— tin, the traditional symbol of ten years, representing both resilience and flexibility. May our students carry this strength forward into a wider world.

The celebration concluded with a luminous drone performance: a panda and a marlet soaring together across the night sky—a poetic tribute to the enduring partnership between China and the UK, and to our shared vision of education that transcends borders and speaks to peace and possibility.
