立冬暖音｜新哲双团连演，用音乐点亮冬日校园

当立冬的寒意悄悄漫进校园，新哲的音乐家们用两场接力式的音乐会，把温暖酿成了流淌的旋律。11月11日至12日，三毛乐团与减小七合唱团相继登场，一场在报告厅燃动全场，一场在草地间浪漫漫游，给新哲校园刻下了最动人的冬日注脚。

From November 11 to 12, Sendelta's Sanmao Rhapsody Orchestra (hereafter referred to as Sanmao) and Half Diminished 7th Choir (hereafter referred to as Choir) staged two brilliant concerts in succession.

周二下午的报告厅，早被烘焙社团的甜香裹满——免费下午茶的加持，让这场音乐盛典刚开场就拉满幸福感。Kay老师带领的三毛乐团一亮相，便用五首精心编排的曲目点燃气氛，安可时突然奏响的《APT》更让全场欢呼迭起，掌声几乎掀翻屋顶。

On Tuesday afternoon, the lecture hall was already filled with the sweet aroma from the Baking Club. Led by Teacher Kay, Sanmao Orchestra ignited the atmosphere with five carefully arranged pieces. The sudden performance of APT as an encore triggered waves of cheers, with applause nearly bringing down the roof.

作为2018年成立的校园“音乐名片”，三毛乐团从未停下迭代的脚步——从音乐会到毕业典礼，从校园展演到户外公演，多元风格总能颠覆观众的期待。

Founded in 2018 as Sendelta's "musical calling card," Sanmao has never stopped evolving. From spring concerts and graduation ceremonies to campus shows and outdoor performances, its diverse styles always surpass the audience's expectations. 

这场演出最惊艳的伏笔，藏在中西乐的碰撞里。Kay老师特意邀请中国民乐器助阵，当《大鱼》的旋律从传统乐器中流淌而出，西洋乐的恢弘与东方韵的空灵交融，让在场师生瞬间沉醉。

The most stunning highlight of the performance lay in the integration of Western and Eastern music. Teacher Kay specially invited Chinese folk musicians to join the performance. The blend of Western and Eastern instruments deeply captivated all teachers and students present.

乐团的活力还藏在新鲜血液里。今年次中音号演奏者Julia和小提琴手Sophia两位老师的加入，让乐团多了师生群体交流的活力。

New vitality also comes from fresh blood. This year, Teacher Julia (baritone horn player) and Teacher Sophia (violinist) joined the orchestra. Their participation  enhanced the interaction between teachers and students .

如果说三毛乐团是燃动的火焰，那减小七合唱团的草地音乐会就是温柔的星光。12日傍晚，Sharon老师带领团员们矗立夜幕下的草地，八首金曲串联起一场浪漫的“宇宙漫游”。

If Sanmao Orchestra was a blazing flame, the Choir's lawn concert was gentle starlight. On the evening of the 12th, Teacher Sharon led the choir members to stand on the lawn under the night sky. Eight hit songs were strung together into a romantic "cosmic journey."

两场音乐会的落幕，只是新哲音乐教育的一个缩影。这里有合唱大赛、社团展演的日常练兵，更有校外公演、国际重磅赛事的历练机会。“我们不只是教音乐，更是给学生更高的舞台，让他们在旋律里找到爱与梦想。”Sharon老师的话，道出了新哲美育的初心。

The conclusion of the two concerts is just a microcosm of Sendelta's music education. Here, students have regular opportunities to practice through choir competitions and club shows, as well as gain experience from off-campus performances and prestigious international music competitions.

这份初心结出了饱满的果实：三毛乐团与减小七合唱团这对“音乐双璧”，成了校园最亮眼的名片；更有一大批毕业生带着音乐才华，走进了罗切斯特大学伊斯曼学院、伯克利音乐学院、洛杉矶音乐学院、约翰斯·霍普金斯大学音乐专业等顶尖音乐殿堂。

This commitment has borne fruitful results: Sanmao and the Choir, as the "two musical gems," have become the most shining calling cards of the campus. Moreover, a large number of graduates with musical talents have been admitted to top music institutions such as the Eastman School of Music (University of Rochester), Berklee College of Music, Los Angeles College of Music, and the music program at Johns Hopkins University.

立冬已至，但新哲的音乐暖意不散——因为这里的每段旋律，都在滋养着成长的力量。

Start of Winter has arrived, but the warmth of Sendelta's music lingers—for every melody here nurtures the power of growth.
