A.C.T. Together: Highlights from Diversity Days|2025多元文化日精彩回顾
From November 3–5, the ISNS community came together for our second annual Diversity Days, a joyful celebration of inclusion, empathy, and global citizenship.
A.C.T. Together: Awareness, Compassion, and Transformation
-- invited students and staff to reflect on how small acts of kindness and understanding can inspire meaningful change.
The event was a collaborative effort between the ISNS DEIJB Committee, Learning Support Team, and Counselling Team, with additional contributions from the Art Club, Marketing Team, and many teacher, student, and parent volunteers. Across three days, our campus was filled with opportunities for connection, reflection, and learning.
Students in Early Years and PYP participated in Read-Aloud sessions, where guest readers shared stories that sparked empathy and curiosity.
Creating Affirmation Keychains
Students from all grades also created affirmation keychains featuring positive messages, which were then shared with others as tokens of friendship and appreciation.
Middle and High School students took part in an Ask Me Anything activity, in which they asked thoughtful, respectful questions of our diverse staff members about their lived experiences and identities.
Complementing these activities were multicolor dress-up days, international lunches, and art displays that showcased the creativity and unity of our students.
The Chinese Department and Counselling Team led classroom lessons on compassion and cultural awareness, ensuring every learner participated in their own meaningful way.
ISNS Diversity Days reinforced our school ideals of being a caring community and preparing our students to be global citizens — reminding us that by acting together with awareness and compassion, we truly transform our world!

幼儿园与 PYP 的学生参与了 Read-Aloud 绘本朗读活动,嘉宾朗读者带来了能够激发共情与好奇心的故事。
各年级学生还制作了写有积极肯定语的钥匙扣,并分享给他人,传递友善与欣赏。
中学部(MYP & DP)的学生参与了 “Ask Me Anything” 活动,他们向来自不同背景的教职员工提出真诚且充满尊重的问题,了解彼此的生活经历与身份认同。
活动同时搭配了多彩主题着装日、国际文化午餐和艺术展示,展现了学生们的创造力与团结精神。
中文部与心理咨询团队在课堂中带来了有关关怀与文化觉察的课程,让每位学生都能以自己的方式参与并获得启发。
ISNS 多元共融日再次强化了学校作为“关爱型社区”的理念,也推动我们培养具有全球公民意识的学生。活动提醒我们:当我们以觉察与关怀同行时,便能真正共同改变世界。
