During this month of 2025, Huamei Foreign Language School welcomed three warm gatherings themed "Growth" — the Campus Open Days and Parent-Teacher Meetings were held successively. Primary and Junior High School

At the school gate in the early morning, student volunteers wearing bright red welcome sashes had already waited there. From the school gate to the classrooms, clear guidance and sincere smiles formed the first warm scenic view of this morning.
In the lecture hall, a wonderful campus video was playing. As the camera switched, it showed the clash of ideas in classrooms, the strenuous running on the sports field, and the confident blooming on the stage... Within just a few minutes, the school's educational philosophy of "Rooted in China, Connected to the World, Facing the Future" had quietly taken root in the parents' hearts.
Subsequently, parents walked into their children's classrooms. In the second-grade music drama class, the young students' performances were full of vitality; in the sixth-grade science experiment, the sparks of group collaboration flew; in the eighth-grade physics class, interesting experiments drew bursts of amazement. These forty minutes were not only a teaching demonstration, but also a silent expression of the educational philosophy — allowing learning to take place authentically and growth to be naturally visible.
After the classes came in-depth conversations in the classrooms. Senior High School Section:

The afternoon sun was perfect, and the parent-teacher meeting for the Senior High School Section began with profound anticipation. The senior high class demonstrations showcased the depth of thinking and the breadth of subjects. Close reading of texts in Chinese class, exploratory experiments in physics class, global perspectives in English class... Here, parents intuitively felt the challenges and charm of academics, and also understood the school’s pursuit of "Deepening Academic Excellence, Guiding the Future".
At 3 p.m., parents gathered in the lecture hall to attend the school’s "Parent Lecture Series". Delivered by Principal Pei Dejun, the lecture, themed "Join Hands as One, Co-Create the Future", covered three topics — "Our ‘Home’", "Our ‘Journey’" and "Our ‘Cooperation’" — and featured an open and in-depth exchange with parents. Principal Pei explained the school’s strong educational capabilities and original educational aspiration from multiple dimensions, including its educational philosophy, curriculum design, teaching staff, cultivation goals, development opportunities, striving paths, role transformation, and home-school collaboration. He also emphasized that education is not only a long journey of love and wisdom, but also a mutual commitment between the school and families. Class-level parent-teacher meetings were more focused and in-depth. Homeroom teachers conducted scientific analyses based on mid-term data; provided precise guidance on subject selection for the new college entrance examination; and launched initiatives for joint protection regarding adolescents’ mental health. Student representatives, parent representatives, and subject teachers spoke one after another. Multiple voices converged here, making "jointly realizing one dream" no longer a slogan, but an ongoing educational practice.
Hong Kong Section:
Customized Service
The Hong Kong Section held a "Customized Parent-Teacher Meeting". This event broke the traditional model and adopted a dual-track mechanism of "online appointment + offline communication": parents independently scheduled time slots with teachers to conduct in-depth one-on-one exchanges with subject teachers and homeroom teachers.
This "customized" communication method not only avoids information overload in group meetings, but also meets the needs of personalized education, and has been highly praised by parents. The school arranged an exclusive communication time slot for each parent. During this period, teachers provided detailed feedback to parents on students' academic performance, in-class behavior, homework completion, and personalized development needs.
