第十五周升旗儀式

Good morning, everyone.

Today, I want to talk about something we all do but might not always reflect on: learning. Why do we learn? Is it just for tests, for grades, or for a future job?

I believe learning is much more than that. It is the key that unlocks the door to our own minds. When we learn, we aren’t simply collecting facts—we are building a tool. This tool is our ability to think.

Think about it. Learning a language isn’t just about words; it is about seeing the world through someone else’s eyes. Learning science isn’t just about formulas; it is about asking “why” and “how.” Learning history isn’t just about dates; it is about learning from the mistakes and successes of those who came before us.

Every time we learn something new, we change. We become a slightly better person—someone who understands more, who can solve problems, and who can see connections. That power stays with you forever. No one can ever take it away.

Learning is not a race. It is a journey—the journey of becoming who you are meant to be. It makes you stronger, smarter, and more free. You are not just preparing for a test; you are preparing for life. You are not just memorizing answers; you are learning how to ask better questions.

So, let’s not learn just because we have to. Let’s learn because it helps us grow. Let’s learn because it sets our minds free. The most important thing you will ever learn is how to learn. And that is a gift you give yourself for life.

校長、老師、同學們，大家早上好！

今天，我想和大家分享一個特別的學習想法——「慢，有時是為了更快」。不知道大家有沒有這樣的學習經驗：當我們越著急學會，反而容易出錯、容易忘記，甚至更累、更看不到進步？

其實，真正的「快」，往往來自於那些願意「慢下來」的時刻。在學習中，考試前我們臨時抱佛腳，急著把書本從頭到尾翻一遍，結果常常是記不住。像蓋房子地基沒有打牢，就急著往上蓋，看起來蓋得很快，卻搖搖欲墜。相反，我們每天「慢一點」——課前花時間提前預習，課後花功夫整理筆記、把錯題真正弄懂，而不是照抄答案。制定學習計畫，花時間想清楚方向，而不是立刻盲目努力。這些「慢」功夫，會讓知識真正記在腦海裡。時間久了，你會發現自己基礎紮實了，學習反而更輕鬆，進步才是真的「快」。

生活也是一樣。「慢下來」的真誠耐心，溝通中更能相互理解；「慢下來」的休息時間，為自己找回專注。所以，高效不是時時刻刻的衝刺，而是在對的地方，穩住腳步，積蓄力量，自然能「快」。
人生不是一場短暫的衝刺，是一場需要耐心與智慧的長跑。最快的速度，往往來自最穩的節奏。願我們能在必要時「慢下來」，沉住氣、靜下心，奔向更遠、更開闊的未來。
