DKIA Spring Bridging Program

从“听懂课堂”到“精准表达”,熟练掌握IGCSE、A-Level、AP等课程的核心学科词汇;

学会制定周计划,分解学习目标,从容管理多任务节奏,成为高效自律的学习者;

从“寻找标准答案”到“多角度探究”,培育好奇心,发展探究能力;

通过主题式调研,掌握“提问-查资料-写报告”的完整逻辑;

提前规划,探索“兴趣-选课-大学专业”的关联,规划清晰路径;

提前熟悉导师制、延展课,更好地融入国际学校的育人体系;

DKIA Spring Bridging Program

During admission season, parents often express concerns:
“My child excels in English exams but struggles to participate in classroom discussions; daily communication is fine, yet academic lectures sound incomprehensible; problem-solving is easy, but project-based tasks feel overwhelming.”

Behind these challenges lies a truth: transitioning to international curricula takes more than English proficiency—it demands a comprehensive competency framework. Many students spend months adapting after enrollment, largely due to the absence of systematic preparatory education.

Drawing on deep understanding of international programs and students’ challenges, DKIA has designed the 2026 Spring Bridging Program—a 450-hour intensive course that systematically strengthens seven core competencies, including academic language, independent learning habits, and critical thinking. This transforms the steep “cliff” of transition into a steady “slope” toward success.

Don’t Panic! What Students Truly Lack

Isn’t English—but the Ability to Adapt t

o International Curricula

Transition gaps typically fall into three areas—the very focus of our Spring Bridging Program:

01

Language Gap: Daily English ≠ Academic English; Subject Vocabulary Is the Hidden Barrier

“Students can greet foreign teachers and chat about the weather, yet fail to follow an explanation of ‘quadratic functions’; they can write casual emails but struggle to compose a 150-word science lab report.” This is the reality for most transitioning learners.

Everyday English cannot meet academic demands. Our program targets subject-specific vocabulary and logical expression in math, science, and economics—laying the essential foundation for future academic success.

02

Habit Gap: From ‘Scheduled Learning’ to ‘Self-Driven Learning’

Coming from rigid timetables and constant homework reminders, many students feel lost when faced with diverse assignments in international schools.

Global curricula emphasize independent learning—project-based tasks, multitasking, and teamwork. DKIA’s program uses progressive autonomy training to help students shift from passive learning to proactive self-management.

03

Thinking Gap: From ‘Solving Problems’ to ‘Exploring Ideas’

International education values higher-order thinking: not just memorizing answers, but forming arguments, providing evidence, and presenting solutions. Our program equips students to tackle open-ended, interdisciplinary questions—developing the reasoning and mindset expected in global classrooms.
