2026年1月7日下午,“解码世界,创变未来”OCAHS 2025-2026秋季学期PBL项目成果汇报会在学术报告厅热烈举行。
On the afternoon of January 7, 2026, OCAHS 2025-2026 Fall Semester PBL Achievement Presentation, titled "Decoding the World, Creating the Future," was held in the academic auditorium of OCAHS.


汇报会开始,橘郡国际优秀毕业生、美国阿拉巴马大学机械工程博士、深圳橘郡AI实验室指导顾问许嘉祺博士率先致辞。
At the beginning of the presentation, Dr. Xu Jiaqi, an outstanding graduate of Orange County International School, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama, and a guiding consultant for the Shenzhen Orange County AI Laboratory, delivered the opening remarks.

许博士在致辞中提到,橘郡开展PBL的意义在于,让学生在解决真实、复杂问题的过程中,整合知识、锤炼高阶思维、学会协作与担当。这正是AI时代,教育赋予人类独有的创造力、情感联结与综合决策能力的绝佳路径。他鼓励学弟学妹们保持好奇、勇于探索,在真实的项目挑战中锻炼面向未来的核心能力。
In his speech, Dr. Xu mentioned that the significance of PBL at OCAHS lies in enabling students to integrate knowledge, refine higher-order thinking, and learn collaboration and accountability while solving real and complex problems. This is indeed an excellent pathway through which education can endow humanity with unique creativity, emotional connection, and comprehensive decision-making abilities in the AI era. He encouraged the younger students to remain curious, dare to explore, and develop future-oriented core competencies through real project challenges.
Four PBL colleges took the stage in turn
本次汇报会最大的亮点,莫过于来自橘郡明德致知、经纬商略、智创未来、格物寰宇四大PBL学院的九个项目小组的精彩呈现。
The highlight of this presentation was undoubtedly the remarkable showcase by nine project teams from OCAHS's four PBL colleges: Veritas College, Vestige College, Techne College, Naturae College.
这些项目横跨人文艺术、经济社会、科技创新与自然科学等多个领域,充分展现了橘郡学子广阔的视野和深入的思考。
These projects span multiple fields, including humanities and arts, economy and society, technological innovation, and natural sciences, fully showcasing the broad perspectives and profound thinking of OCAHS students.

“微报纸”:用年轻人的视角观察、记录并传播校园与社会动态。
"Mini Newspaper": Observing, documenting, and disseminating campus and social developments from the perspective of young people.



“徒步探索之乐”系列:一组项目,分别从野生动植物认知与保护和艺术与自然融合的角度,带领观众重新思考人与自然的关系。
"Joy of Hiking & Exploration": A collection of projects that guide the audience to rethink the relationship between humanity and nature, from the perspectives of wildlife awareness and protection, as well as the fusion of art and the natural world.
“青年之声”播客:搭建表达平台,探讨当代青年关心的社会议题。
"Youth Voice" Podcast: Creating a platform for expression to discuss social issues of concern to contemporary young people.




“陨石坑”微缩景观:用精巧的模型再现地质奇观,探索人类修复地球创伤的可能。
"Meteorite Crater" Miniature Landscape: Reproducing geological wonders through intricate models to explore humanity's potential in healing the Earth's scars.

“大语言模型应用探索”:不止于使用AI,更是尝试理解并设计其应用场景,探索人工智能的边界与可能性。
"Large Language Model in Daily Lives": Going beyond merely using AI, this project involves attempting to understand and design its application scenarios to explore the boundaries and possibilities of artificial intelligence.



“传送带自动分拣装置”:从设计到搭建,一个融合了机械、编程与传感技术的实体项目,体现了扎实的工程实践能力。
"The Conveyor Screening Device": From design to construction, this is a tangible project integrating machinery, programming, and sensor technology, showcasing solid engineering practical skills.

Communicating with the World Through Data

“物联网:校园气象站”:拼装气象感应装置,在校园内建立观测点,收集一手气象数据,并进行可视化分析与解读,展现科学研究的严谨过程。
"IOT:Campus Weather Station": Assembling meteorological sensing devices, establishing observation points on campus to collect firsthand weather data, and conducting visual analysis and interpretation to demonstrate the rigorous process of scientific research.





每个项目汇报结束后,由许嘉祺博士、Veronica、Stephanie、Michael、Vivien等校内外评委老师组成的评审团,都给予了专业而细致的点评。他们不仅肯定同学们的成果与付出,更从项目深化、现实应用、展示技巧等角度提出了宝贵的改进建议,让这场汇报会成为了一次难得的学习提升机会。
After each project presentation, the judging panel—composed of internal and external experts including Dr. Xu Jiaqi, Veronica, Stephanie, Michael, and Vivien—provided professional and detailed feedback. Not only did they acknowledge the students’ achievements and hard work, but they also offered valuable suggestions for improvement in areas such as project development, real-world application, and presentation skills. This turned the reporting session into a rare opportunity for learning and growth.





汇报会的最后,香港中文大学专业进修学院教授、美国科斯特兰大学资优教育博士郑维雄博士对整场汇报会进行了总结点评。
At the conclusion of the presentation, Dr. Zheng Weixiong, a professor at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and holder of a Ph.D. in Gifted Education from Costalen University in the United States, provided summary comments on the entire presentation session.

郑博士高度赞扬了深圳橘郡在项目式学习上的深入实践。他指出,这些项目不仅体现了学生出色的知识应用能力和创新意识,更可贵的是展现了他们主动关注社会、连接世界、勇于承担未来责任的潜力。
Dr. Zheng highly praised OCAHS's in-depth practice of PBL. He noted that these projects not only reflect the students' outstanding ability to apply knowledge and their innovative mindset, but also, more importantly, demonstrate their potential to proactively engage with society, connect with the world, and courageously embrace future responsibilities.
一场汇报,无限未来
One Presentation, Infinite Futures
项目成果汇报会虽已圆满落幕。但“解码世界,创变未来”的旅程远未结束。
The Project Achievement Presentation has concluded successfully, yet the journey of "Decoding the World, Creating the Future" is far from over.
这些项目成果,就像一扇扇打开的窗户,让我们看到了教育更多的可能性——当学习不再局限于书本,当课堂延伸至真实世界,学生的潜能便被无限激发。在深圳橘郡,PBL正是这样一座桥梁,连接着知识的现在与创新的未来。
These project outcomes are like windows flung open, revealing the boundless possibilities of education. When learning transcends textbooks and classrooms extend into the real world, students' potential is unleashed without limits. At Shenzhen Orange County, PBL serves as a bridge, connecting the present of knowledge with the future of innovation.

让我们共同期待,这些在今日埋下探索种子的少年,将在不远的未来,成长为真正能够解码世界复杂议题、驱动积极变革的领创力量。
Let us look forward to these young explorers, who have sown the seeds of curiosity today, growing into the visionary leaders of tomorrow. They will be the ones capable of decoding the world's complex challenges and driving positive change.
