On January 27, 2026, Shenzhen OCAHS reached a pivotal milestone—the school was officially accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)! This achievement marks OCAHS as one of the few international schools in the Greater Bay Area to hold both WASC accreditation and Cognia global accreditation.

WASC, short for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, was founded in 1962.
