鯨帆視角·精彩紛呈｜深圳市鯨帆港人子弟學校第三周升旗儀式

Today is March 16th, 2026. Outside our safe campus, far away, the sky over Tehran burns at night. The world feels a little shaky, doesn't it? It reminds us that peace is never something we can just take for granted.

A long time ago, in a book called the “Yanshi Jiaxun《顏氏家訓》”, a wise man named Yan Zhitui （顏之推）wrote something for his family. He said, "Father and brother cannot always be by your side. Your country and your home cannot always protect you. One day, you might be adrift（[əˈdrɪft] 流离失所）, with no one to shelter you. On that day, you must look to yourself."

He also shared an old saying from his time: "Stacking up (堆积) a thousand fortunes is not as good as having one simple skill."

Think about that.  A thousand fortunes： Gold、Money.

And what is the best skill to learn? He said, "Nothing beats reading. A person who reads can meet thousands of people, can see thousands of things, across all of time."

Some people want to know the world without reading. He laughed at them. He said it's like wanting to be full but being too lazy to cook, or wanting to be warm but being too lazy to sew.

So here we are, in a world that sometimes feels unsure. The news is loud. The ground can feel shaky. But inside each of us, we can build something solid. We read. We learn. We think. We become the person we can rely on. That is the quiet power no one can take away.

So, When the World Shakes, Read!

尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们：
大家早上好！

春风和煦，国旗飘扬。我们又一次，在庄严的国旗下，开启崭新的一周。

今天是3月16日，国际诚信节。诚信，看似是两个简单的字，却是我们做人、做事、做学问最根本的底线。

我们鲸帆港人子弟学校，有着很特别的使命—我们既是香港学子，也是中华少年。我们既要学好DSE课程，开阔国际视野，更要守住一颗爱国、诚信、向善的心。

在这里，我想和同学们说三句话：

第一，做人要诚信。答应别人的事，努力做到；说过的话，认真负责。不欺骗，不隐瞒，做一个让老师放心、让同学信任、让自己问心无愧的人。

第二，学习要诚信。作业独立完成，不抄不抄；考试凭真本事，不弄虚作假。成绩可以有高有低，但品格不能打折扣。真正的优秀，是靠自己一步一个脚印拼出来的。

第三，做事要担当。我们身在湾区，心向家国。希望每一位同学，都能明是非、知荣辱、守规矩，爱护校园，尊重他人，展现港人学子的文明素养，做两地文化交流的小小使者。

老师们，同学们，国旗在上，初心不忘。诚信不是一句口号，而是每天的一言一行。

让我们从今天做起，从小事做起，以诚信立身，以勤学圆梦，以家国为荣，努力成长为有理想、有品格、有本领的新时代青少年！
