Parent Association Annual Appreciation Brunch

On April 22, ISNS warmly welcomed members of the Parent Association for its annual Appreciation Brunch—an occasion dedicated to recognizing the commitment and contributions of parents who work alongside the school in support of student growth.

The morning began with a welcoming reception, as parents arrived, reconnected, and shared conversations in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

These informal moments of connection set the tone for a gathering centered on appreciation, reflection, and community.

As the formal program commenced, Executive Director Joyce Pang delivered the opening remarks,

Warmly welcoming guests and acknowledging the important role of parents in building a supportive and connected school environment.

This was followed by the Annual Progress Report presented by Head of School Dr. Loy, who reflected on the achievements of the past year while also sharing a forward-looking vision for the school’s continued growth.

Her presentation highlighted not only key milestones, but also the collective efforts of students, educators, and families that made these accomplishments possible.

Student performances added a special warmth to the event. Through music and poetry, students expressed their creativity and confidence—serving as a meaningful reminder of the positive impact of a nurturing and engaged community.

Parent Association Director Joyce Li then reflected on the year’s journey, highlighting the many ways in which the PA community actively contributed to school life.

Throughout the year, parent volunteers played an integral role in supporting and enriching key events and initiatives.

A highlight of the morning was the presentation of certificates and awards to Parent Association members, recognizing their dedication and service throughout the year. Beyond the events themselves, parent participation plays a meaningful role in shaping the student experience.
