Hey team, this is my third and final badminton ACAMIS, and I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how much this tournament, this team, and all these memories mean to me. Thinking about it being my last one makes me emotional, because I know how much I’m going to miss every part of it, the matches, the energy, the support, and most of all, being able to fight alongside all of you.
Over these past three years, we’ve grown so much, and I’m really proud of how far we’ve come. Winning our first ever ACAMIS medal together in my final year is something I’ll always carry with me. It means even more because I got to experience it with this team. I truly believe that making it to Bowl Division is only the beginning, the first milestone in what will continue to be an even greater journey toward the Cup.
I’m so proud of every single one of you for how you played and how hard you fought throughout the tournament. No matter the results, you all gave so much, and that is something to be proud of. Even though we had some really close losses, please don’t let that hurt your confidence. Let it remind you of how close you already are, and let it push you to keep growing, improving, and becoming even better in the future.
I also just want to say thank you, truly. Thank you for all the support, thank you for the trust, and thank you for making this experience so special for me. The hotel clap-out meant so much more than I can explain, and moments like that are the ones I’ll never forget. I genuinely have no regrets about skipping prom for ACAMIS, especially because it meant spending this time with all of you. That is something I will always cherish.
Thank you for giving me such a meaningful final ACAMIS. I’m going to miss this more than I can say.
And please, make sure to keep the Sam’s Club tradition alive if Keystones still hosting next year.
