It is with great pride that I share some truly significant news with our entire Harrow Shenzhen community, including our students, staff, parents, and wider supporters.

Harrow International School Shenzhen has successfully passed the British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection and has been awarded official certification. This is a moment of real distinction for our school.

BSO is widely recognised as a mark of educational excellence. It represents a rigorous external evaluation against the highest international standards, covering every aspect of school life—from academic quality and teaching practice to leadership, safeguarding, and student experience. To achieve this accreditation is to be recognised as a school of exceptional quality on a global stage.

This achievement is also extremely rare and highly prestigious. Only a small number of schools in China, and indeed worldwide, hold BSO status. It places Harrow Shenzhen within a very select group of institutions trusted to deliver a truly world-class British education.
