Week Without Walls (WWW) journey to Bali, Indonesia.
Combining adventure, cultural exploration, and personal growth, the trip provided students with the opportunity to strengthen friendships, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories before their final year at ISNS comes to a close.
Beginning the Journey
in Ubud
The adventure began in the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud, where students settled into their new surroundings and learned about the local culture. Throughout the week, they immersed themselves in a variety of exciting experiences that showcased the island’s natural beauty and rich traditions.
Rafting Rapids and
Exploring Traditions
One of the highlights was white-water rafting along the Ayung River, where students navigated rushing waters while enjoying breathtaking scenery. They also visited a local coffee plantation to learn about traditional Balinese farming practices and sample locally produced coffee and tea.
Adventure in Bali's
Natural Wonders
An early-morning trek to Mount Batur challenged students both physically and mentally. Watching the sunrise from the volcanic summit was a rewarding experience, followed by a relaxing visit to natural hot springs overlooking the stunning landscape. Students also explored Bali’s vibrant marine environment while snorkeling among colorful coral reefs near Padang Bai.
Culture, Reflection,
and Lasting Memories
The cultural experiences continued with visits to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and the iconic Uluwatu Temple, perched dramatically on a cliff above the ocean. Students enjoyed traditional Balinese performances, including the famous Kecak Dance, gaining a deeper appreciation for the island’s history and artistic heritage.

The trip concluded with a memorable seafood dinner on Jimbaran Beach and time to reflect on the friendships, challenges, and experiences shared throughout the week.

在这趟融合探险、文化探索与个人成长的旅程中，同学们不仅增进了彼此之间的友谊，也不断挑战自我，在高中生涯即将画上句号之际，共同创造了珍贵而难忘的回忆。
此次旅程从巴厘岛的文化中心——乌布（Ubud）开始。学生们在熟悉新环境的同时，深入了解当地文化。整个行程中，他们积极参与丰富多彩的体验活动，领略这座岛屿独特的自然风光与深厚的人文底蕴。
其中最令人难忘的活动之一，是在阿勇河（Ayung River）进行激流漂流。同学们在湍急水流中勇敢前行，同时欣赏沿途壮丽迷人的自然景观。他们还参观了当地咖啡种植园，了解巴厘岛传统农业种植方式，并品尝当地出产的咖啡和茶饮。
清晨攀登巴杜尔火山（Mount Batur）则成为一次身心兼具挑战的体验。当太阳从火山顶缓缓升起时，所有的努力都得到了最美好的回报。随后，同学们前往天然温泉放松身心，在壮丽的自然景色中享受片刻宁静。此外，大家还来到巴东拜（Padang Bai）海域浮潜，近距离探索色彩斑斓的珊瑚礁和丰富多样的海洋生态。
文化探索同样精彩纷呈。同学们参观了神鹰广场文化公园（Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park）以及坐落于海边悬崖之上的著名乌鲁瓦图寺（Uluwatu Temple）。大家欣赏了包括著名卡恰克火舞（Kecak Dance）在内的巴厘岛传统表演艺术，对当地悠久的历史文化和艺术传承有了更深入的理解。
