As summer arrives,
a new chapter of growth unfolds.
The SAIS Primary Graduation Ceremony officially commences.
Parents, faculty and all graduates gather together to
witness the children complete their primary education and
step into the next phase of life.
Graduates marched into the venue in order,
stepping onto the stage side by side. All audience members rose to their feet,
And the whole venue sang the school anthem
We are SAIS in unison.
Melodies echoed through the auditorium,
full of love and pride for our school.
Principal Joe stepped onto the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech.
He looked back on the growth of every graduate over the years,
Praising their curiosity, courage and IB learner profiles,
And sent sincere wishes as they transition to Secondary School.
After the principal’s address,
awards were presented to parent committee representatives.
For their selfless dedication, consistent support and active cooperation with the school,
Each family volunteer received a commemorative award amid warm applause.
The stage shone with brilliant student performances.
First, graduate Emilia Panasenko brought an elegant piano recital,
Her gentle, flowing notes wrapped the whole hall in quiet warmth.
Then graduate Paul Funk delivered a dynamic drum kit show,
Powerful rhythms ignited the youthful vitality of the venue.
To close the performance session,
all graduates picked up ukuleles
And performed the lively
Shake It Off together.
Bright singing and cheerful strums filled every corner of the auditorium.
Homeroom teachers Ms Samantha and Ms Heidi took the stage one after another.
They shared tender daily stories with their classes,
Recalling the little progress and warm moments over the years,
Mixing reluctant affection with earnest expectations for every child.
Later, the parent representative spoke on behalf of all families,
Expressing sincere gratitude to the school and teachers for meticulous cultivation and care.
A student representative from Secondary School also came to the stage,
Sharing his own transition experience from Primary to Secondary,
Warmly welcoming new junior high schoolmates to join the secondary campus.
This graduation certificate marks the end of the Primary PYP journey,
A precious medal for years of hard work and exploration.
The host called each graduate’s name in sequence.
