You're a sky full of stars

I'm going to give you my heart

You're a sky full of stars"——他们唱着的,恰恰就是自己。

You light up the path

You're a sky full of stars

Four years ago, they came into PreK at BMH—small, uncertain, just beginning. Now, in the summer of 2026, they have stood on a stage in front of hundreds, graduating from kindergarten. Together, they make a sky full of stars—each distinct, each luminous, all part of one bright expanse.

This ceremony was never about goodbye. It was about moving on. From here, into a much bigger world.

I'm going to give you my heart

The night sky moves us not because any one star outshines the rest, but because every star keeps its own tempo—glowing or fading, close or distant—reflecting one another, and giving out its own distinct light.

K3C kicked things off with “Blossoms of Farewell”—arms opening, spinning, leaping, like branches stretching naturally in the wind.

Then K3B performed “Moving Up,” weaving together little scenes from the past three years, showing just how much they had grown. And when K3A sang “A Walk Down Memory Lane,” the whole room softened into warm light. “You're a sky full of stars”—and that's exactly what they were, singing about themselves.

At that moment, they looked relaxed and completely themselves. That's what three years at BMH had done—not by forcing them into one shape, but by letting each child unfold at their own speed, into their own person.

The second half of the performance turned from where they had been to where they were going.

K3C's “Journey of Joy” moved through intricate patterns, hands clasped, bodies turning together, each child holding up the other, promising something to the new world ahead. K3A's “Little Dreamers Set Sail” was all wind and motion—every turn a small leap of faith towards what waits.

And K3B, immaculate in their formal wear, brought the room to its feet with “Here We come, Grade one!”—jumping, grinning, calling out: we're ready, we're ready for G1.

The applause rolled through the atrium. The children who once needed a hand to hold just to walk into a classroom were now walking towards their next stop—on their own.

You light up the path

Good education isn't about polishing every star to the same shine—it's about helping each one find its own orbit.

These three years have been the children's starting line—and for teachers and parents, they've also been a lesson in stepping back, trusting, and learning to let go.

Ms. Angela, our Head of preschool, fought back tears more than once during her address. She knew each class and every child personally. For her and for BMH, this group had brought so much joy and so many surprises—and our wonderful teaching team matched that with care and expertise, protecting every child's childhood with real dedication.

Headmaster Mr. Ping and parent representative Ms. Yang looked back fondly on the children's three years, and looked forward with encouragement.

The teachers, who had been with them day in and day out, gave their final words of encouragement—a poem that made the ceremony feel most tender, just between them and the children. And when the children handed over their bouquets, you could feel the real affection in it.

Amid the applause and good wishes, the K3 children walked up to the stage, one after another. From Ms. Angela and Ms. Monica, they received their very first “diploma.”

The graduates sang the school anthem together, the cake with every child's photo came out, and as we all shouted “Happy Graduation!”, colourful streamers shot from the sides of the stage, landing on shoulders and hair—a bright and joyful finale to a beautiful ceremony.

Dear Class of 2026, you've learned so much here: how to receive love and give it, how to ask questions and really listen, how to run hard and get back up when you stumble. Those invisible sparks will stay with you as you move on to primary school and wherever else life takes you.

BMH will always shine—lighting your way out, and keeping a light on for your return. We'll see you at the next stop.
