DSE课程简介 INTRODUCION OF DSE CURRICULUM

香港中学文凭考试简称DSE。它是香港考试与评核局于2012年建立的大学入学选拔考试。其成绩与A-level,SAT,IB等国际考试一样逐渐被全球超290所大学承认。全球任何国籍、学籍学生均可报考，且支持简体中文作答，它是最适合国内学生直升海外名校的国际课程。

The Hong Kong Diploma of secondary education examination (DSE) is a university entrance examination established by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority in 2012. Its results are gradually recognized by more than 290 universities around the world like international examinations such as A-level, SAT and IB. The students with any nationality and status in the world can apply for the examination.Furthermore,it is also allowed to have an examination in simplified Chinese, which is the most suitable international course for domestic students to go straight to famous overseas universities.

香港DSE课程由4门必修科目+21门选修科目组成。ESIA的DSE班级开设以下课程：

The DSE curriculum in Hong Kong consists of four compulsory subjects and twenty-four elective subjects. ESIA offers the following courses.

课程特点 Characteristics

01	难度较低竞争压力较小 EASIER AND LESS COMPETITIVE PRESSURE

由于香港推行12年义务教育，因此不设中考。DSE考试考核的内容涵盖香港中一至中六的知识点（相当于内地初一至高三）。因此考试难度偏低，与内地高中会考相当。

Since Hong Kong has implemented 12-year compulsory education, there is no high school entrance examination. The contents of DSE examination include the knowledge points from Secondary One to Secondary Six in Hong Kong (equivalent to junior one to senior three in the mainland). Therefore, the examination is a little bit easier, which is equivalent to that of the mainland high school certificate examination.

据香港考试及评核局统计，2021年报考DSE考试的考生人数为52131人，相较于大陆千万人的高考报考人数，DSE课程的竞争压力相对较小。

According to the statistics of the Hong Kong Examinations and assessment authority, the number of candidates registered for the DSE examination in 2021 was 52131. Compared with the tens of millions of candidates for the college, DSE curriculum is relatively less competitive.

02	DSE与雅思相似 THE RULES OF DSE AND IELTS ARE THE SAME

DSE英语考试规则与雅思相似，成绩获雅思官方认可，学生无需加考雅思、托福。多元化选修课的设置帮助学生有效规避弱势学科，以更高的成绩直升理想大学。

DSE English test rules are similar to IELTS. The results are officially recognized by IELTS. Students do not need to take IELTS and TOEFL. The design of diversified elective courses helps students effectively avoid vulnerable disciplines and go to ideal colleges with higher grades.

03	成绩两年有效 THE RESULTS ARE VALID FOR TWO YEARS

DSE考试可保留第一年考试成绩，允许考生第二年全力冲刺低分学科，从中取两年中各科最优成绩申请大学。考试结果将根据整体成绩，采用等级评分制打分，大学按照等级分数录取优秀学生。

DSE examination can retain the examination results of the first year, allowing candidates to　go　out　for low score subjects in the second year, and apply for university with the best results of each subject in the two years. The test results will be graded according to the overall results．

04考试支持中文作答 THE EXAMINATION CAN BE TAKEN IN CHINESE

DSE课程内容与内地初高中有近80%的重合率。学生无需改变学习习惯，上手难度较低。除英文科目以外，其余科目可自由选择英文、繁体中文或简体中文作答。

The content of DSE courses has a coincidence rate of nearly 80% with that of junior and senior high schools in the mainland. Students do not need to change their learning habits and are less difficult to get started. Except for English subjects, other subjects can choose English, traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese freely.

考试模式Examination mode

香港DSE考试成绩采取“4+2”模式，即4门必修+2门选修。根据大学的学分要求，以4-5门最高成绩申请大学。可选择偏文科或偏理科，实现扬长避短考取理想高校。

Hong Kong DSE examination results adopt the "4 + 2" mode, that is, 4 compulsory courses and 2 elective courses. According to the credit requirements of different universities, You can apply for universities with 4-5 highest scores and choose liberal arts or science, so as to develop your strengths and avoid your weaknesses and obtain an ideal university.
