As the summer holidays are approaching, ISA Wenhua Wuhan Primary School has prepared a rich summer camp programme for all students and parents.

In this programme, we will take the world's most famous schools as the theme of exploration, combined with the IB inquiry-based teaching methodology, and adopt the full English immersion teaching method to open up the students' international vision and plant the seeds of the world's most famous schools for the students. Under the framework of IB-PYP, professional foreign UOI teachers and bilingual UOI teachers work together to develop a two-week UOI exploration programme based on the theme of "World's Best Schools", exploring the educational philosophy, culture, outstanding alumni and favourable applicant profiles of Harvard University (USA), Cambridge University (UK), the University of Hong Kong (HK), and the University of Sydney (UTS), among others. A two-week UOI exploration programme.

Authentically experience the cycle of inquiry in an immersive English learning environment. Through reading original English picture books, English speech and elocution, academic writing, opinion writing, and library classes, students will improve their English proficiency and develop their international perspective.

Students will be guided by the Humanities teacher to complete and report on a research report based on the results of their supra-disciplinary thematic enquiry, in conjunction with the cycle of enquiry, in order to improve their research skills and writing in general.

Taught by both foreign and bilingual teachers, the programme adopts an immersive, full-English teaching method. In accordance with the IB framework of Wuhan Aisha Mandarin Primary School, the programme is inquiry-based, concept-driven, and adopts a group work mode, with the themes of Mathematics Picture Book Reading, Historical Mathematicians and their Contributions, Comparison of Mathematical Thinking Between the East and the West, History of Mathematical Development, Mathematical Thinking Expansion, and Mathematical Games, to comprehensively consolidate the foundation of Mathematics, and improve the ability of mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills, and expanding the global vision of mathematics.

Sports will focus on experiencing international sports including: swimming, rock climbing, golf, flag football, curling, tennis, cheerleading, gymnastics and many other sports, to develop teamwork skills and promote international sportsmanship.

[Camp Introduction]

ISA Wuhan School is the largest international education project in Central China in terms of investment scale, and is also one of the key projects for Wuhan to build an international communication centre. In terms of campus construction, the school earnestly practices IB whole-person education cultivation goals, and follows the world-class WELL v2 building standards, so that the campus facilities can truly serve the students and teaching.

[Boarding]

The standard accommodation at ISA is one room with 4 beds, spacious and bright, with a wide window view, equipped with desks, chairs, lamps, wardrobes, etc. The bedding is of a high standard, which is healthy, comfortable and soothing.

The school is also equipped with a small number of boarding teachers who are available 24 hours a day to provide students with professional boarding programmes and academic support. Currently, the boarding teacher-student ratio is 1:4 for G1 to G2, 1:8 for G2 to G5, and 1:12 for G6.

The school has professional living teachers to wash students' change of clothes. Students only need to put their dirty clothes in the equipped bags, which will be taken by the living teachers to be washed, dried, and sorted out and put in each student's wardrobe.

• Accommodation is allocated strictly according to gender, with boys and girls living on different floors.

• Campers are assigned a living teacher to answer and care for any questions they may have.

• The school is closed to ensure the safety of the campers.

• The school is equipped with professional medical staff to ensure the safety and health of campers 24 hours a day.
