5. Some people think living in big cities is bad for people’s health. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Recently, the issue of whether living in big cities exerts a harmful influence on human beings' health has become the subject of heated debate. Some people assert that residents in big cities are more likely to undergo health problems, while others argue otherwise. Personally, I believe that both arguments should be given equal weight. In the following essay, the evidence supporting this contention will be discussed alongside relevant examples.
On the one hand, it seems difficult to refute the idea that citizens in metropolitan cities, such as Tokyo and Seoul, have difficulty in avoiding some pollution, which can cause damage to their physical health, resulted from living in cities. Perhaps obvious pollution is air pollution created by a huge amount of transportation emitting CO2.
In addition, there is a great deal of noise pollution in cities, which has detrimental effects on residents' mental health. This is because most of the metropolitan cities have a multitude number of people even though the size of their territory is small. Thus, many citizens have a tendency to live in flats which are difficult to prevent noise problems from rising. For these reasons, there does seem to be a solid basis for the claim that dwelling in a city does harm to citizens' health.
On the other hand, it seems short-sighted to contend that living in cites merely brings with it negatives on people's health. The most oft-cited argument against such a view is that residents in cities which has a huge amount of population are easy to use health care services, compared to inhabitants in the countryside. To exemplify, one recent article released by the Seoul Times illustrates that life expectancy of people in Seoul was the highest in South Korea in 2018 and the main reason for this phenomenon was turned out to be a myriad of hospitals. Furthermore, people in big cities have more chances to keep their health since there are a myriad of programs related to health, such as yogaclasses and lectures about healthy diets. In light of the above, I also find these persuasive.
6. Towns and cities are attractive places. Some people suggest that the government should spend money putting in more works of art like paintings and statues to make them better to live in. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Following the interests of the city's environment design and has been increasing, the local governments make plans for decorating cities with artworks. Of all the factors supporting the advantages of artworks, the arts of the community will make vibrant on not only our living but also economic benefits.
First of all, funding arts projects, such as music and paintings, enables citizens to have opportunities to experience spiritual relief of high work pressure. Various art forms help people to enhance their taste of aesthetics and diversify their leisure time activities. In addition, the traditional arts should be well protected by governments since they are the national heritage with both educational and symbolic functions. For example, ancient architecture not only serves as the source of inspirations for modern buildings but also constitutes representations of various eras.
On the other hand, putting money in the construction of infrastructure can also be justified by the evidence that a great number of people in most developing countries still live under the poverty line. It is the government's responsibility to ensure citizens to have access to affordable public transport and sufficient medical facilities. Besides, infrastructure accounts for a part of GDP that measures the economic level of a country. After all, without a basic standard of living, people would rather sacrifice arts, a luxury enjoyment, in exchange for practical benefits that they can enjoy daily.
Inclusion, I partly agree that it cannot meet every population's favours and values, on the flip side, considering the effectiveness of drawings of the city, I strongly believe that artworks are necessary to the community. As a result, the government should pay attention to the local environment and enact laws to make our society as having a beautiful sight with safety.

Some people believe that children should be allowed to make and learn from mistakes, while others think parents’ intervention is needed to prevent these mistakes.
According to some people, mistakes are unavoidable and learning from the mistake is a valuable experience in life. After making mistakes, children can learn to reflect on their actions and remedy the situations. In this process, they develop important characteristics such as independence and resilience. By contrast, if children always live under the protection of parents, they are deprived of the opportunity to learn and grow. Once confronted with setbacks and failures in their adulthood, they become disheartened without the right attitude and strategy to handle these.
However, some people argue that learning from mistakes is unnecessary and mistakes should be avoided with parental guidance in place. Every time children make a mistake they are paying a price for that, and some prices are too high to afford. As the guardian of children, parents have the responsibility to prevent children from making such mistakes. For some children who intend to play truant or imitate dangerous behavior, parents should stop them and make them realize the consequence, rather than letting them learn from the mistakes on their own.
In my point of view, it is unlikely that individuals can make no errors throughout their lives; therefore, allowing children to learn from mistakes and recover from setbacks is beneficial to their growth. Of course, the severity and frequency of the mistakes need to be supervised. A certain degree of guidance from adults is necessary, but overprotection should not be encouraged.
