What is ACT? 

ACT考试即“American College Testing”，也就是“美国大学入学考试”。ACT（American College Test）和SAT（Scholastic Aptitude Test），都有“美国高考”之称，这两个考试不光美国大学的入学条件之一，也是大学在录取学生时发放奖学金的主要依据之一。

ACT refers to American College Testing. Known as the " national college entrance exam in America," ACT and SAT (either one is ok) are not only one of the admission requirements for American universities, but also one of the main criteria for universities to award scholarships when admitting students.

ACT是一项综合能力的测试，是一个包含英语、数学、阅读、科学四个方面学习的考试。所有美国大学包括我们熟知的常春藤名校都接受ACT或SAT的考试成绩。ACT和SAT考试对于美国大学来说是同等水平的测试，都会接受。

 ACT is a comprehensive aptitude test covering English, math, reading, and science. All American universities, including the well-known ivy league schools, recognize both ACT and SAT test scores. ACT and SAT have the same validity for American universities.  

不仅是美国，ACT考试成绩在其他英语国家，如加拿大、英国、爱尔兰、澳大利亚、新西兰等也受到广泛认可。也正是由于ACT考试的认可度之高，目前全世界每年有近250万人次参加ACT考试。

Besides in the United States, ACT is also widely recognized in other English-speaking countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. It is also due to the high recognition of the ACT test that nearly 2.5 million people take the test every year around the world.

中国大陆的ACT培训和考试中心是经过美国教育考试委员会严格考核并授权的。能够被授权成为ACT考试中心，也能体现美国教育考试委员会对我们上海宏润博源学校的肯定和认可。

ACT training and testing centers in Chinese Mainland are strictly assessed and authorized by American Council on Education. Being authorized as an ACT test center also reflects the affirmation and recognition of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School by American Council on Education.
