The annual campus celebration and charity event ‘ISA Festival’ was held on May 20th. Students from more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, etc. came together to put on a diverse cultural feast.
The ISA Festival was not only a stage for the students to present themselves, but also a way for ISA Wuhan to contribute to society. All together we witnessed the wonderful performances from the students and the school's charity initiatives.

This ISA Festival brought together all members of the ISA family and the guests, including teachers, students, parents, members of overseas business associations, well-known enterprises, and other members of society came to ISA Wuhan School, jointly sharing a sensory feast of multicultural integration through various activities such as raising money for charity, diversify culture performances, creative shows, and exhibitions of students’ work.

The charity bazaar had nearly a hundred featured booths, where students, teachers, and family members worked together. This greatly promoted collaboration between home and school.

The ISA Charity Fund is a platform for helping others, collaborating between home and school, and promoting student growth. The charity bazaar combines holistic education, community building, and public welfare services. All the revenue from the event was donated to the ISA Charity Fund.

In addition to the dazzling bazaar, the grand performance by all the community members of ISA was not to be missed. The theme of this ISA Festival is 'Era of Exploration', citing the spirit of exploration in Zhuang Zi's Peripateticism and the Travels of Marco Polo, with the intention of presenting an ISA community of multicultural integration and promoting the civilizational integration of different cultures in the world.

除琳琅满目的公益集市外，由爱莎全体社区成员带来的盛大演出也不容错过。本次爱莎日以“大航海时代之幻海奇想”为主题，援引《庄子·逍遥游》以及《马可波罗游记》中的探究精神，意图呈现一处多元文化融合的爱莎舞台，促进世界不同文化的文明交融。

The children of ISA Wuhan Kindergarten wore costumes of cartoon dolls, accompanied by dynamic music, bringing the audience a playful and cute "little cartoon dance". This produced a ripple of excitement through the audience who really loved the kindergarten performance.

武汉爱莎幼儿园的小朋友们换上了卡通玩偶的装束，伴随着动感十足的音乐，为观众带来了俏皮可爱的“小小卡通舞”，现场气氛瞬间升温！

The first-grade students from ISA Wuhan Wenhua performed "I Like Drama" and their natural charm instantly won over the audience.

The Secondary School students from ISA Wuhan Wenhua presented a dance called ‘Dreaming Back to the Splendor of the Tang Dynasty’. The graceful and light dance steps, coupled with the fluttering water sleeves, depicted a beautiful story about the Tang Dynasty.

爱莎文华学校初中学生则带来舞蹈“梦回盛唐”，飒沓轻盈的舞步伴水袖一抹，便是半生醉唐佳话。

The students from ISA Wuhan Wenhua High School performed a cheerful and lighthearted song about ‘Happy Sheep’ for their younger schoolmates during their busy study schedules.

The ‘Future Fashion Show’ was jointly performed by the Parent Support Group and students from ISA Wuhan Wenhua PYP programme, parents and students used environmentally friendly materials to cut and design the eye-catching and creative clothing, aiming to promote the concept of green and low-carbon living.

The ISA Wuhan Parent Support Group brings together over 30 elite families from home and abroad, actively building a diverse cultural community. At the charity bazaar, various cultural ideas from different countries were integrated. The booths featured cuisine from many countries, DIY handicrafts, multi-cultural art exhibitions, VR interactive games, and customized school gifts, showcasing the international vision fostered by ISA’s education for all.

By helping in many ways with the booths (of which there were almost 100), students were able to cooperate with their families and teachers. In the charity bazaar, students could gain more knowledge, serve others, repay society, and get real-life experience. This also strengthened the connection between home and school and demonstrated how the two are interconnected.

Adhering to the student-centered educational approach of ISA Wuhan Secondary School students became the ‘leadership’ of this event. From light programming, and stage design to audio equipment operation, students entered the backstage of the Grand Theater to control the entire process of sound, lighting, and electronic stage equipment, applying the knowledge they learned in class in a real theatre setting. They also acted as the "online streamers", leading the audience on a virtual tour of the ISA Festival from the perspective of students.

武汉爱莎秉承一切“以学生为中心”的办学理念，将本次活动的主导权交给学生。
从灯光编排、舞美设计到音频设备操作，本次爱莎日，武汉爱莎中学部学生进入学校千人剧院后台，全流程控制现场声、光、电舞美设备，在真实的剧院情境中应用课堂所学知识，更化身“线上小主播”，以学生视角带领观众“云游”爱莎日。

One of the highlights of the event was the exhibition of students’ work showcasing various types of exhibits including academic reports, scientific research results, paintings and sculptures, novels and essays, video installations, technological inventions, and theatrical arts.

在活动现场中设置的学生作品联展更是看点之一，来自爱莎约10个学部的学生代表展出包括学术报告、科研成果、绘画雕塑、小说散文、影像装置、科技发明及新媒体、戏剧艺术等多种展陈类型。

The English poetry collection created by ISA Wuhan Secondary School students used ancient English poetry forms to describe their interests and thoughts in life.
