The "National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020)" proposes: "Strengthen international understanding education, promote cross-cultural exchanges, and enhance students' knowledge and understanding of different countries and cultures." The "Opinions of the Ministry of Education and Seven Other Departments on Accelerating and Expanding Education Opening-up in the New Era" also points out: "In the field of basic education, international understanding education in primary and secondary schools will be strengthened to help students establish a sense of community with a shared future for mankind, and to cultivate new era youth who are well-rounded in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, and possess an international perspective."
In response to the national initiative and in line with educational policies, Wuhan No. 2 Middle School and ISA Wuhan have joined forces to cooperate in areas such as international understanding education, curriculum innovation, joint teacher research, student joint training, and teacher-student exchanges and visits. Together, they aim to promote the integration and innovation of domestic high-quality educational practices and international advanced educational concepts, and to explore new models of high-quality educational integration.
The person in charge of the Jiang'an District Education Bureau said that both Wuhan No. 2 Middle School and ISA Wuhan enjoy a high reputation in the education industry. This strong collaboration between the two schools is an active exploration and practice of education internationalization in the new era. It is hoped that both parties will start from a higher point, maintain higher goals, and continuously deepen cooperation in aspects such as curriculum settings, teacher exchanges, and teaching research. Through the effective integration and sharing of educational resources, and the exchange and communication of information, it is expected to promote the internationalization of education in Jiang'an District to a new level.
