ISS EXPO 2023 Organizing team

The ISS EXPO, held at SIS The Bay campus, was a resounding success with an impressive turnout of over 600 participants. This forum brought together educators, school leaders and representatives from 35 prestigious international and bilingual schools across China.

Beyond serving as a platform for professional development, the EXPO created a valuable space for schools, educators, and sponsors to engage in meaningful conversations about employment opportunities and explore potential collaborations. Attendees were thrilled with the well-structured and insightful program, which featured a diverse range of  20 face-to-face learning sessions over the course of a day and a half.

The Expo kicked off on an engaging note with a thought-provoking presentation by Dr. Wu. Her reflections on the significance of international schools in Chinese society and her visionary outlook for the future of international education shed light on the evolving policies and priorities of the Ministry of Education.

One of the standout features of the EXPO was the inclusion of four captivating keynote sessions delivered by renowned specialists. For instance, Dr. Giancarlo Mangone and Architect Peter Brown presented a session on strategic planning, designed specifically for school leaders. Their presentation and workshop provided valuable strategies and insights to help school leaders develop effective strategic plans and create high-performing learning environments.

Overall, attendees expressed high levels of satisfaction and a genuine desire to participate in future events of a similar nature. ISS EXPO truly delivered on its promise of being a well-executed and organized event that provided ample opportunities for professional growth and meaningful networking experiences.
