School Introduction

华外同文外国语学校（原华南师范大学附属外国语学校，以下简称“华外”），位于广州市黄埔区科学城，是一所高起点、高品质、特色化、现代化、国际化的可寄宿制民办学校。

学校坚持多元发展格局，同文教育集团现有IB幼儿园、九年一贯制中小学国家课程、IB中小学课程；岭南国际交流书院开设国际高中课程。其中IB课程 PYP和MYP均获得IBO认证。国际高中课程获得Cognia认证（原美国南部学院与学校协会-SACS认证）。

华外同文外国语学校由原华南师范大学附属中学校长、国家督学、特级教师朱子平先生担任总校长，现有专任教师近300人（有来自18个不同国家和地区的外籍教师近40人），成员毕业于哈佛大学、哥伦比亚大学、清华大学、中山大学、北京师范大学、东北师范大学、华中师范大学、华东师范大学、湖南师范大学、陕西师范大学、华南师范大学等国内外知名高校，具有开阔的国际视野和丰富的学科教学经验。

七年级：8个班（小班化分层教学）

2.招生对象

▷ 小学部：年满六周岁学生

（2017年8月31日前出生，含当天）

▷ 初中部：小学六年级应届毕业生

* 含CEP双语中学部、I-EP中学部

▷ 港澳子弟班：年满六周岁港澳籍学生

（2017年8月31日前出生，含当天）

▷ 少量插班生学位

（1）对象：

① 穗籍学生：

入读小学：以其户籍界定属地区

入读中学：以其户籍或其小学毕业学籍界定属地区

② 非穗籍学生：

入读小学：以其本人或父母或其他法定监护人其中一方的《广东省居住证》地址属地区。

入读中学：以其本人或父母或其他法定监护人其中一方的《广东省居住证》地址或其小学毕业学籍界定属地区。

③ 港澳台籍学生

需学生本人有《港澳居民居住证》、《台湾居民居住证》地址属广州。

④ 外籍学生

办理广州市《境外人员临时住宿登记表》。

Huawai-Tongman Foreign Language School (formerly known as the Affiliated Foreign Language School of South China Normal University), is located in Science City, Huangpu District, Guangzhou, and is a private boarding school providing internationalized high–quality education for all students.

Our school follows a diversified developmental approach, offering a range of programs, including IB Kindergarten, bilingual primary and middle schools, IB primary and secondary school curricula, and American International High School curricula. We have received IBO certification for our IB courses PYP and MYP, while our international high school program is accredited by Cognia (formerly the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools -SACS).

Huawai-Tongman FLS is led and chaired by Mr. Zhu Ziping, a distinguished teacher, national educational supervisor, and former president of South China Normal University Affiliated High School. Our faculty includes 300 full-time teachers (including nearly 40 foreign teachers from 18 different countries and regions), who have graduated from esteemed universities both domestically and internationally, such as Harvard University, Columbia University, Tsinghua University, and Sun Yat-Sen University, possessing broad international perspectives and extensive teaching experience.

2.Candidates

▷ Primary school: Students over the age of six

(Born before August 31, 2017, inclusive)

▷ Secondary school: Fresh graduate of grade six from primary school

▷ Class of Hong Kong and Macau students: Hong Kong and Macao students aged 6 or above

(Born before August 31, 2017, inclusive)

▷ A small number of transfer students

Process of applying for admission through the Guangzhou Compulsory Education School Enrollment and Registration System:

（1）Targets:

①Students with registered residence in Guangzhou:

Primary school enrollment: Defined by registered residence

Secondary school enrollment: Defined by its registered residence or its primary school graduation status

②Students without registered residence in Guangzhou:

Enrollment in primary school: Students belong to the region with one of their own or parents or other legal guardians' "Guangdong Province Residence Permit" address.

Enrollment in secondary school: The region is defined by the address of one of their own or parents or other legal guardians on their Guangdong Province Residence Permit or their primary school graduation status.

③Students from Hong Kong and Macao:

must have a 'Hong Kong and Macao Resident Residence Permit' and have an address in Guangzhou.

④ Foreign students

（2）Registration via website:

Login to the Guangzhou Compulsory Education School Enrollment and Registration System , and choose to fill in the volunteer form of "Huawai-Tongman FLS, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Institution Code: 440116105217".
