月圆月缺，如同人生起伏，

因此，

人们望月时，

总会牵动起对生活的感触。

The moon seems to be the reflection of life. We have sorrow, joy, parting and reunions, like how the moon appears to be dim, bright, waxing or waning. Therefore, the scene of moon may elicit strong emotions.

而中秋，便是月圆时节，意味着完满。在中秋夜，人们或是相聚一堂其乐融融，或是相隔两地倾诉思念。

吃月饼、食螃蟹、赏月光、赏灯笼

延续经久不息的中华传统习俗，度过这难忘时光。

Mid-Autumn Day is the mid-point of autumn with a perfect full moon. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, people either get together for fun, or miss one another from a distance. They follow the long-standing Chinese traditional customs of eating moon cakes and crabs, enjoying moonlight and lanterns to spend this unforgettable time.

而在广州暨大港澳子弟学校，

中秋假期前的最后一个上课日，

大小朋友们开心地亲手制作

美丽花灯。

On the last class day before the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, all the students of ASJ patiently made beautiful lanterns by themselves.

灯笼不止有照明的作用，

作为中国文化的象征，

更有着幸福团圆的意义，

体现出浓烈的家国情怀。

As one of the symbols of Chinese culture, lanterns are not only used for lighting, but also have the meaning of happiness and consummation, reflecting strong devotion to family and country.

经过孩子们的巧手，

灯笼逐渐成型，

活跃生动的玉兔形象，

是孩子们为家庭、

为学校献上的中秋好礼。

每个人都寄美好祝福与情愫，

于这不灭的灯光中。

Using their skilled hands, students got the basic shapes of the jade rabbits in lanterns. The lifelike and vivid jade rabbits are good mid-autumn festival gifts for children's families and the school. The lit lanterns reflect people's yearning for a beautiful and fulfilling life.
