主讲人同时作为第一期齐物达观知识讲坛的开讲嘉宾Donnie, 为学生和老师带来了一场关于《论语》、关于根植于我们中国人文化基因中的儒家文化的精彩讲座。
The opening guest, Donnie, Head of the Mathematics department, brought spoke about "The Analects of Confucius" and the influence of Confucian culture on the Chinese people.
Donnie老师在仅短短40分钟的演讲里, 将延绵两千多年, 久远而陌生枯燥的儒家文化, 用通俗易懂, 风趣幽默的方式呈现于学生与老师面前。现场的气氛非常热烈, 学生们踊跃的与Donnie老师交流互动, 欢笑声此起彼伏, 掌声连绵。Donnie老师不但诠释了多位古人, 对儒家文化的传承, 也发表了他自己对儒家文化的独特见解, 给学生提供了一个重新理性解读儒家文化的视角，比如”打倒孔家村”，后人对孔子言论的整理摘录中产生的偏误，这是他常年以”敏而好学，不耻下问“自律，以”文“为毕生目标，博览五车的学术沉淀和反思。这场知识论坛学生与老师们收获丰富，对于我们AIC的学生而言参加此论坛能够展现自我、探索知识，也能提升了自己的素质涵养，还锻炼了思辨能力；在听讲座的过程中能够学习到从不同的角度来看待事物的本质, 这恰好也是IB以及国际教育中强调的批判性精神, 「齐物达观」知识讲坛为AIC的学生开学术之风，启心灵之光。
In the talk which lasted about 40 minutes, Donnie presented the Confucian culture that has lasted for more than two thousand years in understandable and humorous way to the students and teachers, to give the audience a deeper insight into the Confucian culture. Donnie did not only explain the inheritance of Confucian culture by many ancient people, but he also expressed his own unique insights into Confucian culture. The talk gave student an example of how to explore knowledge, improve their cultural deposits, enhance their critical thinking, and to observe things from different perspective. This is also the mainstream spirit in the IB and international education.
Donnie老师在讲座结束前的一席话, 感染了在座的每一位师生, 他说: “我们的学生将来去到海外求学, 不要以外国人眼里外国人去讨论西方文化, 我们必须要带着中国文化特质, 去让外国人更加了解并认识我们的中国文化。”
“Our students will study abroad in the future. We must bring with us characteristics of Chinese culture to people all over the world," Donnie said.
