3日上午，暨南大学宋献中校长一行莅临我校，对学校工作进行调研指导，暨南大学对外联络处处长梁燕、国际交流合作处处长蒲若茜、基础教育办公室主任侯宏伟、党政办公室郭腾军、暨南教育投资发展有限公司执行总经理蔡耿添等陪同调研，我校执行理事长邓强光、总校长郑景亮、执行校长封岩、校办主任邹婷及兄弟学校东莞暨大港澳子弟学校领导班子理事长董旭原、理事易丽华、筹备组长郭燕群热情接待了各位领导。封岩执行校长主持座谈会议。

On the morning of the 3rd, Song Xianzhong, the President of Jinan University (JNU), and his colleagues visited our school. They are Liang Yan, Director of the International Liaison Office of JNU, Pu Ruoxi, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation of JNU, Hou Hongwei, Director of Primary and Elementary Education Office of JNU, Guo Tengjun of the Office of Party and Government Affairs of JNU, and Cai Gengtian, Executive General Manager of Jinan Education Investment and Development Co., Ltd. The leaders were warmly received by Lucas Deng, Executive Director of ASJ, Cheng King Leung, Chief Principle of ASJ, Jessica Feng, Executive Principle of ASJ, Crystal Zou, Director of ASJ School Office, and the leadership team of ASJ sister school Affiliated School of JNU for Hong Kong and Macao Students Dongguan, they are Director-General Dong Xuyuan, Director Yi Lihua, and Preparatory Team Leader Guo Yanqun. Ms. Feng hosted the seminar.

宋献中校长一行首先参观了学校的整体环境，认真地听取了封岩执行校长关于学校校徽中所蕴含的“暨大本色、湾区底色、港澳特色”的内涵的讲解,详细地了解了图书馆、体育馆、各功能室、教室等的功能和特色。在此过程中，宋献中校长还观摩了正在进行的中小学课堂，走进教室认真倾听教师授课、与同学们互动。宋献中校长还走进教师办公室，了解教师们的工作和生活情况，并亲切慰问了正在我校实习的来自暨南大学外语学院的实习生们。

Mr. Song and his colleagues first visited ASJ. They listened attentively to Ms. Feng's explanation of the connotation of "the Tradition of Jinan University," "the Characteristics of Hong Kong and Macao," "the Vision of the Greater Bay Area" embodied in our school logo. He learned more about the functions and features of the library, sports arena, function rooms, and classrooms. In the process, Mr. Song also observed primary and secondary school classrooms, where he listened to the teachers and interacted with the students. He also went into the teachers' offices to learn more about the teachers' work and paid a cordial visit to the interns from the School of Foreign Studies of JNU who were on placement in our school.

在座谈会上，封岩执行校长首先代表学校对宋献中校长一行的莅临表示了热烈的欢迎，并介绍了各位与会人员。郑景亮总校长汇报了我校的概况，他认为建设港澳子弟学校是响应和落实国家粤港澳大湾区建设的重大举措，接着他介绍了我校的国民教育、科技等特色课程和丰富多样的校园活动，他还分享了他对于粤港澳大湾区素质教育的理解。郭燕群组长汇报了东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的筹备进度，以及学校的办学定位、教育理念、培养目标、招生计划、校园文化建设等。

At the seminar, Ms. Feng first extended a warm welcome to Mr. Song and his colleagues and introduced the participants. Mr. Cheng reported on the general situation of our school. He believed that the construction of the school for Hong Kong and Macao students was a major initiative to respond to and implement the national construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He introduced ASJ's patriotic education, technology, other special courses, and rich campus activities. He also shared his understanding of quality education in the Greater Bay Area. Ms. Guo reported on the progress of the preparations for ASJ Dongguan, as well as the school's positioning, mission and vision, training objectives, enrolment plan, and campus culture development.

听完郑景亮总校长和郭燕群组长的汇报后，梁燕处长表示，自己亲身经历并见证了港澳子弟学校的建设过程，她认为港澳子弟学校的创办契合国家的粤港澳大湾区建设精神，并打造出了独有的港澳子弟学校速度。侯宏伟主任对我校的快速发展及取得的成绩表示祝贺，同时他也强调我们应该时刻警惕，不断提高教育教学质量。蒲若茜处长对我校的办学理念、教学模式、课堂开展表示高度认可，同时她也高度赞扬了我校在坚持严格疫情防控下所取得的办学成就。

After listening to the reports from Mr. Cheng and Ms. Guo, Ms. Liang expressed that she had personally experienced and witnessed the construction process of ASJ. She believed that the establishement of the school fits the national spirit of the construction of the Greater Bay Area and has created an impressive speed of the school for Hong Kong and Macao students. Mr. Hou congratulated our school for its rapid development and achievements, and he also stressed that we should always be vigilant and constantly improve the quality of education and teaching. Ms. Pu expressed her high recognition of ASJ's mission and vision, teaching mode, and classroom development. At the same time, she also highly praised our school's achievements in adhering to strict pandemic prevention and control.

宋献中校长首先分享了参观校园的感受，认为我校办学理念先进、课程体系合理、师资团队优秀。他表示，作为暨大的附属学校，港澳子弟学校要充分传承并发扬暨南大学“宏教泽而系侨情”的办学使命，维持高标准办学质量，办出特色，打造粤港澳大湾区国际教育品牌。他还对我校以及东莞暨大子弟学校提出来的问题逐一进行了解答。

Mr. Song shared his impressions of the campus visit. He believed that our school had an advanced mission and vision, an appropriate curriculum, and an excellent academic team. He stated that as an affiliated school of JNU, ASJ should fully inherit and carry forward the mission and vision of JNU. Our school needs to maintain a high standard of teaching quality, run a unique school, and build an international education brand in the Greater Bay Area. He also answered the questions asked by our school and ASJ Dongguan.

最后，邓强光执行理事长代表学校向宋献中校长汇报了广州暨大港澳子弟学校被入选“全面深化服务贸易创新发展试点第二批最佳实践案例”的喜讯，并表示，一定会在暨南大学的指导下，坚持高要求高标准高质量办学，服务于国家和粤港澳大湾区建设。

Lastly, Mr. Deng reported to Mr. Song that ASJ had been selected as one of the “Second Batch of Best Practice Cases for Comprehensively Deepening the Pilot Programme of the Innovative Development of Trade in Service.” He expressed that under the guidance of JNU, ASJ will insist on running schools with high requirements, high standards, and high quality to serve the country and the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
