AIC学子喜提LAMDA考试的优异证书!

本周，AIC戏剧组的学生们欣喜地收到了他们在12 月LAMDA考试的优异证书, 并且在为下一次6 月考试而努力。

This week, students received their LAMDA certificates from the December exams.

They were thrilled to receive their certificates of distinction and5 are already working hard for their next exams in June.

LAMDA 考试受 Ofqual 监管，可用于多个学科。在去年12月, 我们AIC 的学生参加了口语、散文和表演的考试。此外, 部分学生将在今年6月参加公开演讲考试，这将是一个新的起点。

LAMDA exams are regulated by Ofqual and are available in several disciplines. For example, AIC students took exams in the Speaking of Verse and Prose and Acting. In addition, some of our students will be taking exams in Public Speaking in June, which will be a new departure.

关于 LAMDA 考试

LAMDA（伦敦音乐与戏剧艺术学院）是英国最负盛名的戏剧学校之一，其开设有多个类别的表演考试。LAMDA 考试的教育资质受广泛认可，英国资格和课程管理局 (QCA) 认可其为资质颁发机构。

LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) is one of the UK’s most prestigious drama schools offering performance-based examinations. LAMDA exams are recognized educational qualifications and are accredited as an Awarding Body by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England.

学生参与较高级别的LAMDA考试，将有机会获得 UCAS 学分（用于入读英国大学）。例如，八级考试中获得卓越或优异成绩，将获得与AS-Level考试中成绩为A同样的大学学分。

The higher level examinations award UCAS points (for university entry in the UK). For example, a distinction or a merit award at Grade 8 is worth the same university points as an A grade at AS level.

学会能够在公共场合自信地交谈是一项重要的技能。戏剧老师Nicola说: “我希望我们的学生在上大学时具备与讲师和导师交谈的能力，并通过演讲展示他们的成就。LAMDA 考试可以帮助解决这个问题”。

Learning to speak confidently in public is an important skill. “We want our students to go to university knowing that they can talk to their lecturers and tutors and give presentations that demonstrate their accomplishments. LAMDA exams can help with that”, said drama teacher Nicola.

我们期待看到 LAMDA 学生在本学期末的表演。在考官面前表演是一项考验，而在一大群观众面前表演则完全是另外一种挑战。适应更大的表演空间的需求，体验只有表演才能赋予的动感氛围，对学生来说是一个激动人心的挑战。

We look forward to seeing the LAMDA students perform later this term. Performing in front of the examiner is one thing but performing in front of a big audience is entirely another thing. It is an exciting challenge for the students to adapt to the bigger performance space's demands and experience the dynamic atmosphere that only performance can give.
