Over the past 20 years, I have traveled the world to pursue my passion for travels, understanding global issues, and Education of course. 

My interest to see the world as both a unique yet diverse place led me to work in the U.S., Canada, Egypt, Syria, and India, with various curricula (Canadian, French, British, US, and the IB), through which I can see their subtleties, commonalities, and can act as mirrors of our global society. I spent the first 13 years of my career as a French as a Second Language teacher at all levels, and after a Master in Educational Leadership at Lehigh University, I have been leading school divisions. 

I am particularly keen to launch different community building projects and have a particular interest in data-driven decision process. My Family and I are proud to call Zengcheng home for the coming years.

世界在我的眼中，是充满未知的，也是独一无二的。因此，我曾在加拿大、埃及、叙利亚、印度和美国工作，开设并领导了各种课程（英、美，法、加拿大的课程），从而做到融会贯通，取长补短，潜心打造国际化教育并且在培养未来型人才的道路上，愈发坚定.

我特别热衷于启动不同的社区建设项目，并对数据驱动的决策过程特别感兴趣。我和我的家人很开心的即将迎来并庆祝我们与增城誉德莱的第三周年。

I have had the pleasure of serving as the Head of Primary at UISZ for the past 2 years. I have been an educator for 18 years, having received my Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta, and Master Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of New Brunswick.

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and spent most of my professional career teaching and learning there. As a classroom teacher I fell in love with the joy of teaching and seeing young people grow and learn. I have always had a special interest in supporting diverse learners and building relationships as a foundation for learning. In my 14+ years of teaching I taught a variety of subjects: IBDP Art, English, Social Studies, Humanities… and Drama and PE (whatever was needed at any given time). It was whilst teaching English that I moved into leadership and became a Department Head, discovering a new passion for supporting teachers in their professional growth and development. As an instructional leader I have served in schools with students aged K-12, in both rural as urban settings, large and small (all unique and diverse) in Canada and abroad for the past 9 years, the most recent 4 years in China. I am passionate about life-long learning, and growing compassionate and thoughtful human beings. I believe that each child comes with their own unique gifts, and it is our job to inspire them help them grow.

I am joined on this cultural journey abroad with my husband and two children. As a family, we are excited about learning and experiencing the world together.

我在加拿大艾伯塔省出生和长大，我的大部分职业生涯都是在那里教学和学习的。作为一名课堂老师，我爱上了教学和看到年轻人成长和学习的乐趣。我一直对支持多样化的学习者和建立作为学习基础的关系有着浓厚的兴趣。在我超过 14 年的教学生涯中，我教授了各种科目：IBDP 艺术、英语、社会研究、人文学科……以及戏剧和体育（任何特定时间需要的任何东西）。正是在教英语的时候，我担任系主任，并且发现了支持教师专业成长和发展的新热情。作为一名教学领导者，在过去的 9 年里，最近 的4 年在中国，我在加拿大和国外的大小学校（无论是农村还是城市）教育过 K-12 岁的学生。我热衷于终身学习，培养富有同情心和体贴的人。我相信每个孩子都有自己独特的天赋，激励他们帮助他们成长是我们的工作。

我与丈夫和两个孩子一起参加了这次海外文化之旅。 作为一个家庭，我们很高兴能一起学习和体验这个世界。

I am from Louisville, Kentucky in the United States of America. I hold a BS degree in Business Administration, an MA in Teaching Math and Business, and an MA in Global Leadership. 

I also hold a post graduate certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University.  I have over 18 years of classroom instruction from middle years, high school and college / university levels for Math and Business and Leadership. 

I am currently serving at UISZ as the Acting Head of Boarding and have 10 years of experience in Housing and Boarding for both K-12 schools and universities. I have served in China for the last six years in Kunshan, Xi'an and now ZengCheng. My Hobbies are riding motorcycles, cooking and baking, LEGO building, and music.

Hello, my name is Lai Chunping, I have been working in UISZ since 2004, where I started my work in an international environment, where I have grown a lot as an IB educator and DP Examiner. I have had several roles in this school over the past few years, IGCSE Chinese teacher, MYP/DP Chinese teacher, Head of House, Coordinator of Chinese Language and Culture, and now DP Coordinator.  

I’m pleased to have the chance to work with our young learners, parents, and colleagues, not just in Chinese class, but in more areas too. As the new DP Coordinator, one of my main goals is to continue creating a caring and positive learning environment for the DP students. I have met and talked with some of our DP parents, and I look forward to meeting you all in the future.

 我很高兴有机会与我们的年轻学习者、家长和同事一起工作，不仅仅是在中文课上，而是在更多领域。作为IBDP协调员，我的主要目标之一是继续为 DP 学生创造一个充满关爱和积极的学习环境。我已经与我们的一些 DP 父母会面并进行了交谈，我期待着在未来与每一个你们携手并肩，为年轻人搭建更广阔的平台。

My name is Freeman Kwong . I am from Hong Kong, China. I studied in Hong Kong Education University majoring The Executive Master of Arts in International Educational Leadership and further my studies at University of Toronto. 

I am passionate about learning and teaching in secondary school. As a qualified teacher in both Hong Kong and Mainland, I understand the enjoyment as well as the challenges that come along when preparing for the university entrance exam. I am looking forward to working with students to equip them with the knowledge and skill they need to succeed in HKDSE.

I am most excited for this as I get to design, construct and create with all the students at UISZ!

我对中学的学习和教学充满热情。作为一个资质并且资深的香港和内地教师，我深知准备”香港高考”的乐趣和挑战。我期待与我的多才多艺的学生们携手并进，为他们提供在 HKDSE 取得成功所需的知识和技巧, 未来可期！  

My name is Alex Marinescu，after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, I have been an educator for 15 years in various locations and contexts including Europe, the Middle East and now here in China where I have lived for the past seven years. 

In addition to teaching, I also have extensive experience in curriculum development. For the past five years, I have been leading PE Departments in creating curricula with the associated documents and resources.

I have also been a professional football (soccer) referee for more than 18 years with more than 1000 games refereed national and international.

I am happy to join UISZ with my wife and our two boys and be a part of this wonderful community.

我也是一名具有长达18年经验的职业足球裁判，在国内和国际裁判超过 1000 场比赛。

我很高兴与我的妻子和我们的两个孩子一起加入 UISZ，并成为这个美好社区的一员。

I majored in Administrative and Human Resource Management in South China Normal University，and joined Utahloy International School Zengcheng in 2005, I have been engaged in administrative operation management ever since. 

I am motivated and driven by the learning concepts at UISZ, and I have seen it grow so much over the past two decades, therefore I am also dedicated to becoming a lifelong learner myself. As a member of the UISZ community for the past 17 years, my family and I are proud to call UISZ home!

我主修华南师范大学行政管理及人力资源管理专业，自2005年加入了广州增城誉德莱外籍人员子女学校，我在学校从事行政运营管理工作17年。

I attained a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education at the University of Adelaide in Australia. I am currently studying in the field of Leadership Enhancement, at the University of Harvard.  

Before joining UISZ, I spent 7 years working at a worldwide college in Sydney, during my tenure there, I played a key role in establishing the International Student Department and helped international students from all over the world. Throughout this time, I have gained a deep understanding of multi-cultural education.

I am also a veteran of creating and managing digital content to build relationships for organisations and individuals.

In my free-time, I have enjoyed boxing for the last 5 years, and recently started CrossFit.

我在澳大利亚阿德莱德大学获得了文学学士学位和教育硕士学位。并在终身学习理念的驱动下，攻读哈佛大学领导力提升领域的课程。

加入UISZ之前，我在悉尼的一所世界知名学府工作了7年，在任职期间，我创立了国际生部，为来自世界各地的国际学生提供了更好的服务。并且在这段时间里，我更增加了对多元文化教育的深刻理解。

我同时也热衷于通过数字化创建和管理-信息化-创新化的运营创新。

在业余时间，我是一个运动达人，练了5年的拳击，最近开始了CrossFit运动。
