G3 

经济Economy


在超学科主题《我们如何组织自己》下,三年级的同学们围绕“经济”展开探究,通过探究各种形式的经济活动,认识和了解世界各国的货币以及初步学习理财知识。


“如何让钱生钱?”是同学们正在热议的话题。所以,学校请来了王老师这位行业资深的理财专家,带着孩子们一起思考和实践“生财之道“。孩子们积极投入地参与,个个都变身”小小理财家“。






G5 

领导力Leadership


五年级的同学们探究主题是:领导力。


五一班聂荣添的爸爸通过南极探险家沙克尔顿的故事——在极为艰辛的环境下带领手下团队实现目标取得成功,引入了领导力的相关要素。


接着,利用动物的例子生动地向学生们展示了动物界中存在的领导力,比如大雁“人”字形南飞和蚂蚁齐聚力量搬运食物中领头雁和领头蚁,让学生们深刻地意识到领导力也存在于动物。


最后,聂荣添爸爸将领导力与学校生活中的点滴联系起来,进一步加深了学生对领导力的理解。


聂爸爸的讲座结束后,同学们都秒变“小粉丝“,纷纷要求签名留念。可见聂爸爸的受欢迎程度非常高,领导力相当强。


五二班邓治琳的妈妈以古陶瓷历史为媒介,不仅从多个角度讲述了汉朝和清朝的著名领导人物(刘邦,康熙,雍正和乾隆)是如何展现他们的领导力的,包括对朝廷政务的处理方式和对宽广辽阔国土面积的管辖。而且还向学生们展示了不同朝代瓷器的特点。


邓治琳妈妈的讲演不仅让学生们学习到了古代皇帝的领导力,还激发了他们对历史的兴趣。



五三班陈泊君的妈妈则从说服力、自我激励、策略能力和权力感四个方面向学生们详细演示了什么领导力,并且结合生活中实际例子,加深学生们对领导力的理解,最后泊君妈妈还组织了“石头剪刀布”的分组活动让学生们动起来,让他们亲自感受和体验领导力。


同学们学习的参与度非常高。




G6 

个人财务Personal Finance


六年级的探究主题是:个人财务。


三班何智圆爸爸为六年级的孩子们带来了一堂生动有趣的理财课。具备丰富理财知识的何先生,此次以 “我的零花钱我做主” 为主题,围绕“招财进宝”、“两种花”、“理和财”三个话题,带领六年级的同学们展开了一次小小的探究活动。


通过“有钱花”和“随便花”生动形象地向同学们解释了什么是“理”,什么是“财”。在讲座过程中,何先生邀请孩子们参与互动、竞答、游戏等活动,增加了课堂的趣味性。同时,调动了同学们积极性,让同学们体验了一把在玩中学习理财知识。


课堂内容不仅贴近学生的日常生活,也紧扣本单元“个人财务“的学习重点:“如何管理自己的零花钱”,让同学们更好地树立自己的金钱观和理财观



教育从来都不是灌满一桶水,而是点燃一把火。教育即生活,生活即教育。


孩子的学习只有在真实的情境中真实地发生时,才是真的学以致用。

It takes a village to educate a child, and the influence of community resources on a child's education is significant and far-reaching. 


IB Education advocates building a community of learners and welcomes parents as experts in various industries to walk into their children's classrooms to provide resources to support their children's UOI learning and provide professional answers to questions raised during the inquiry.

G3 

经济Economy


Under the UOI topic "How We Organize Ourselves," the third graders explored the "economy," exploring various forms of economic activities, learning about money in the world, and learning about money management. 


"How do we make money?" was a hot topic among the students. Therefore, the school invited Ms. Wang, an experienced financial expert, to bring the children together to think about and practice "how to make money". The children were actively involved and turned into "little money managers".






G5 

领导力Leadership


The G5 students explored the theme of leadership.


Nie Rongtian's father introduced the elements of leadership through the story of Shackleton, an Antarctic explorer who led his team to achieve their goals and success under extremely difficult circumstances. 


Then, using animal examples, he vividly showed the students that leadership exists in the animals, such as the geese flying south in a "herringbone" pattern under the lead of a geese and the ants gathering together to carry food under the lead of an ant. 


Finally, Mr. Nie connected leadership with school life to further deepen the students' understanding of leadership.


After Mr. Nie's lecture, students turned into "little fans" and asked for autographs. It is clear that Papa Nie is very popular and has strong leadership.


Using the history of ancient ceramics as a medium, Deng Zhilin's mother in Class 5-2 not only talked about how the famous leaders of the Han and Qing dynasties (Liu Bang, Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong) showed their leadership from several perspectives, including the way they handled court affairs and governed a vast country. The students were also shown the characteristics of porcelain from different dynasties. 


Mrs Deng’s lecture not only taught the students about the leadership of the ancient emperors, but also stimulated their interest in history.



Chen Pojun’s mother, from Class 5-3, demonstrated to the students in detail what leadership is from four aspects: persuasion, self-motivation, strategic ability and sense of power, and combined them with real life examples to deepen their understanding of leadership. The students were very engaged in their learning.


The students were deeply involved in the lesson.




G6 

个人财务Personal Finance


The theme of the sixth grade's inquiry was: personal finance.


He Zhiyuan’s father, from Class 3, gave a lively and interesting financial management lesson to the children of Grade 6. Mr. He has rich knowledge in financial management, who used the theme of "I am in charge of my pocket money" in the lesson and it focused on three topics: "Bring in wealth and treasure", "Two kinds of flowers" and "Management and wealth". In the lesson, Mr. He also led the sixth graders to conduct a small investigation activity. 


Through "have money to spend" and "spend money casually", he explained to the students vividly what "management" is and what "wealth" is. During the lecture, Mr. He invited the children to participate in interactive activities, quizzes and games, which really increased the students’ interest in the lesson. At the same time, it allowed the students to experience learning while playing. 


The content of the class is not only close to the students' daily life, but also closely follows the focus of this unit "Personal Finance: How to manage your pocket money", so that the students can better establish their own concept of money and financial management.



Education has never been about filling a bucket with water, but about lighting a fire. Education is life, and life is education.
