In the past few weeks, the increasing covid cases have affected greatly in every aspect of people’s life in Guangzhou. Appealing by the government, people in this city are actively involved in the fight against the epidemic. As a school, ISA Tianhe always put the safety and health of students and other community members first. To adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Guangzhou government, the Education Bureau and relevant epidemic prevention institutions, ISA Tianhe has strengthened the prevention measures to against the epidemic.

在过去的几个星期，广州疫情牵动着无数人的心。在政府号召下，所有市民都积极投身于这场防疫大战中，和病毒作斗争。作为一所学校，爱莎天河学校的防疫工作也丝毫没有松懈，始终将学生和社区成员的安全与健康放在首位，坚持贯彻政府、教育局以及相关防疫机构的政策与指引。

As the epidemic keeps spreading, according to the latest policies, a number of students and staff are under lockdown. ISA Tianhe pays great attention to the changes of epidemic policy and adjust teaching measures timely. Up to now, online and offline teaching are both adopted at the same time to ensure all students having an organized school day.

受疫情扩散的影响，应政府相关政策要求部分师生需暂缓返校。学校时刻关注疫情情况并实时根据学生返校情况在第一时间对全校教学工作进行精准部署，采取线上与线下教学同时进行的模式，确保教学工作有序进行。

Flexible combination of online and offlinecourses

暂缓返校，网课与线下课程灵活结合

Since October 24, some teachers and students have been suspended from returning to school because of the epidemic. Online lessons are provided to those who are under lockdown through WeChat or TEAMS. With the help of these online platforms, students at home can still interact with teachers and classmates. Teachers also redesign the homework for online students, and student would receive corrections and feedback for their homework. Many parents are surprised by seeing their children participate actively in online lessons and adapt the changes positively, which is a big progress for children.

于10月24日起，部分师生暂缓返校。为了让暂缓返校的师生也能参与到学校教学活动中，老师们利用TEAMS和微信等软件进行线上线下教学。线上的学生可以通过线上平台与老师和同学们进行交流互动。老师也根据线上课程的特性，调整学生的作业要求，并对此进行批改和反馈。不少家长反馈孩子在家积极参与课堂，主动适应新的变化并看到了孩子的成长。

In the meantime, ISA Tianhe has made reasonable coordination and utilization of teaching resources according to the actual situation at school to ensure offline teaching. Classes with small number of returning students have combined together, which provides a new chance for students to make new friends. It’s amazing to see students work well with new classmates and finish group work successfully, which shows them have strived to be communicators as IB learner.

同时，学校根据师生返校的实际情况进行了教学资源的合理协调与利用，部分返校人数较少的班级进行了组班教学。在不影响线下教学的同时，孩子们也很快在班级上认识到了新朋友，顺利完成小组学习任务，充分体现了孩子们善于交流的IB学习者精神。

全面停课，及时有效应对

Starting on November 10th, the school temporarily paused offline teaching according to the government's epidemic policy. In the face of this sudden situation, ISA Tianhe set up an online lesson efficiently and swiftly. After receiving the notification, ISA Tianhe quickly issued a notice informing parents and sent out the guidelines and learning resources for online classes. As a result, the school was able to start online classes in an orderly manner on the first day of the school closure. The teachers conducted the lessons according to the lesson plan and schedule to ensure that the online lessons were orderly.

11月10日起，应相关政府部分要求全校停止线下教学。面对突如其来的全面停课，爱莎天河学校再一次高效、迅速地架起了“云端课堂”。在接到相关通知后，学校迅速发布通知告知家长并将相关网课指引与学习资源发送给家长。因此，在停课第一天学校才得以有序地开展网课。老师根据教学计划和进度开展教学，保证线上教学有序进行。

1	Effective prevention tightly relates to the good cooperation of home and school. According to the epidemic prevention guidelines, all returning students and staff must hold a 24-hour valid PCR negative report every day. In order to implement the policy, ISA provides free PCR test within school from Monday to Friday. 有效的防疫效果需要家校共同配合，根据防疫工作指引，每日返校的师生和职工需持有24小时有效核酸阴性报告。为落实防疫政策，学校为学生及员工提供周一至周五的免费核酸检测。
2	To ensure the health and safety of every community member, ISA staff would check carefully about the health code and PCR test report before anyone entering school. 学校员工坚守一线，每天严格检查进校人员的健康码和核酸报告，以保证全体师生的安全。
3	Use 84 Disinfectant to clean and disinfect the ground, table tops, sinks, toilets, aisles and areas like those every morning and evening; wipe the surface of objects that people would often touch (ground, handrails, door handles, desks and chairs, sports equipment, etc.) to disinfect and keep a record of each disinfection. 自疫情以来，学校每周分别在周三和周末进行两次全面的喷砂/喷杀式消毒。每天早晚用84消毒液，对地面、桌面、洗手台、卫生间、过道等卫生重点区域进行清洁和消毒，并对物体表面（地面、扶手、门把手、课桌椅、体育器材等人体常接触的物体或位置）进行擦拭消毒并记录。
4	Conduct strict morning inspections, lunch inspections and declaration system; guide and supervise students’ mask wearing. When the morning inspection is completed, the person in charge reports to the school nurse. If any respiratory symptoms such as fever and cough occur in the students, isolation and notice to relative parents should be implemented immediately; parents need to take their children to the hospital as soon as possible. 学校开展严格晨检、午检及申报工作，指导和监督学生的口罩佩戴情况，负责人每天晨检工作完成后，向校医上报晨检情况，发现发热、咳嗽等呼吸道症状，立即通知家长并实施隔离，家长需尽快将孩子带离就诊。

To further enrich students' school life, ISA Tianhe has elaborately carried out a series of school activities on the basis of safety, showing the vitality and energy of the school. The ISA Tianhe October Fun Day and Sports Days were held successfully, which created a lively, positive, and harmonious vibe to ISA members. Students and teachers were fully involved in the activities through the combination of games and sports, no matter at home or at school.

为进一步丰富学生校园文化生活，在保证安全的前提下展现出校园应有的活力风采，学校在筑牢疫情防线的基础上，精心策划、积极开展了一系列内容丰富校园活动，切实营造出生动活泼、积极向上、轻松融洽的校园氛围。爱莎天河十“纷”趣味日和学生运动会等校园都于校园内顺利开展，无论是在家或在学校的学生都通过游戏与运动结合的形式充分地参与到活动当中。
