This year ISA Tianhe held three separate Sports Days that allowed the pupils an opportunity to compete against pupils from the different houses. Due to inclement weather the EY sports day had to take place inside however this did not dampen the fun for the pupils. Fortunately, the Primary Sports day had perfect weather.

2022爱莎天河运动会分三场举办，让校内不同学院的学生充分参与到竞赛中。幼儿园运动会当天，虽然天气阴雨蒙蒙，但也阻挡不了孩子们的运动热情。小学运动会当天则非常幸运地晴空万里。  

The focus for EY 1 and 2 pupils was on trying one’s best and having fun. The pupils competed in an obstacle course, egg and spoon, sack race, throwing a bean bag into hoops and a running race. Unfortunately, Covid prevented the parents from coming and supporting their children however our amazing homeroom teachers were there to encourage the pupils to do their very best. I was so pleased to see how much fun the pupils had and the effort they put into competing.  All pupils had a great morning of activities and were a joy to watch. 

对于小小班和小班而言，运动会在于享受体育竞赛的乐趣和激发孩子们对运动的兴趣。孩子们参加了各种有趣的竞赛项目，如障碍赛、勺子传蛋、麻袋比赛等，孩子们尽自己最大的努力完成比赛项目。由于疫情防控，虽然家长不能到校参与本次的运动会，但是老师鼓励孩子们，为孩子们加油打气。

For the EY3 and 4 the focus was on teamwork, excellence and participation. Pupils had an opportunity to take part in some challenging and fun events and competed against pupils from different houses. The events were organized and managed by our amazing students from Year 5 who showed excellent communication skills and patience towards the pupils who were taking part.  The events were the obstacle race, throwing the bean bag in the hoop, crossing the river, building the highest tower, sack race, and the all-time classic egg and spoon.  In all these races pupils competed with enthusiasm and a smile on their face. All pupils had a fun morning and left knowing that they had tried their very hardest.

中班和大班则着重于团队合作、运动技巧和参与。孩子们均有机会参加具有挑战性和趣味性的活动，并与不同学院的同学进行竞赛。这些有趣且具有挑战性的活动由五年级学生主导，他们对幼儿园孩子表现出了出色的沟通技巧和耐心。孩子们可以体验多种多样的体育项目，如障碍赛、投豆袋、过河、建高塔、麻袋赛、勺子传蛋。孩子们都尽自己最大的努力去完成每一项运动并乐在其中，也在运动中培养团队合作精神、锻炼坚强的毅力和增强自信心。

The rain had stopped, the sun was slowly starting to break through the clouds and the scene was set for a super day to celebrate sport, physical activity and our school community. 

11月9日，雨停了，太阳缓缓穿透云层，爱莎天河小学运动会如期开展。

The morning saw our Grade 1 and 2 students come together and give their maximum effort in many sporting activities. They competed in 30m Sprinting, balance obstacle courses, egg & spoon balance racing, three-leg partner races and many more challenging activities!

上午，一年级和二年级的学生开展了许多具有挑战性的竞赛项目，如30米冲刺、平衡障碍赛、勺子传蛋、两人三足比赛。孩子们挑战自我，发挥团队精神，为团队取得荣耀。

The afternoon saw our Grade 3, 4 and 5 students compete. The activities were a little more advanced and the students rose to the occasion, with some fantastic individual and team performances. 

下午，小学高年级的学生也参与其中，比赛项目包含了个人赛和团队赛。学生们都在比赛中表现出色，把体育竞赛精神表现得淋漓尽致。

Each student proudly wore their house t-shirt, with the day full of vibrant color and great sportsmanship. During the PE unit, the Olympic Values were discussed and it was truly amazing to see our entire student community competing with respect, fairness and good sportsmanship throughout. The atmosphere was truly a celebration of sport!

运动会这一天，学生们都自豪地穿上了自己的学院服，展现出伟大的体育精神。竞赛遵循奥林匹克价值观——卓越、尊重和友谊。

As in any sports competition, there is a competitive team element to it, with this year being particularly close. Each activity had the chance to win points, with extra points being given for fair play and following the Olympic Values of kindness, respect and fair play. 

本次运动会采用学院积分制度，学生们每参与一项活动都有机会为学院赢取积分。所有的竞赛均以友好、尊重和公平竞争为原则。
