BIS will host an exciting event on 27^th May. Fusion – our Art, STEAM and Music showcase will take place on the first and second floor of BIS. The first floor will focus on STEAM and the second floor will focus on Art.

What is Fusion?

Fusion is a collaboration event between Art, Music and STEAM at BIS. This creative multimedia exhibition will showcase students work in a unique and interactive way.

This event will include an immersive mixed media art gallery, a variety of live performances, film & animation showreel, interactive installations, a big makers space and innovative robotics arena.

This event will infuse science and technology with the arts, aiming to ignite passion and inspiration through participation.

Past Highlights

The event will include an opening ceremony for the Wonder Gallery, BIS student performances, more than 20 interactive installations and art displays co-created by teachers and students, allowing you to fully experience and explore the wonderful integration of art and technology.

Wonder Gallery Opening Ceremony

Our world is a wonderful place, and our students' journey is full of wonder. Creating art allows our students to experience the world in different ways. Join us and experience art in the Wonder Gallery. Enjoy seeing the imagination of our brilliant students and feel the emotions of our talented student creators.

BIS Stage

BIS students will present a variety of performances and showcase their talents. Our confident and gifted students will express themselves creatively and show their unique skills. There will also be videos played on the screen showing student work that has been completed throughout the year.

Workshops

Get ready for an exciting workshop experience at The Glow Studio, Art Alley, and Android Invasion! Join the UV Paint Bots and Pod Racers, create your own UV artwork, play unique student-created arcade games, and pilot drones in the Drone Warp Drive course.

Art Alley offers a chance to create a Jackson Pollock-style masterpiece or play a life-sized board game, while Android Invasion features robot football, Mecha Sumo, and the opportunity to build your own robot. Don't miss out on this hands-on, action-packed event!

Installations and display

Be amazed by the diverse array of student-created installations and displays at the event.

Explore the intricately designed 3D city map in "My Community," or hop on the bicycle-powered theme park rides in "Amusement Park." See the progress of our innovative project ‘Botanica’ - our vertical garden with an automated watering system designed by our students.

Don't miss the UV gallery showcasing neon art and make a wish on the life-sized "Wish Tree." Finally, enjoy a showcase of student animations and films in the "Film & Animation Showreel."

This event is open to the public and is a great opportunity for the BIS community and guests to participate, enjoy and learn.

We have prepared many interesting and highly interactive activities for both adults and children. We look forward to bringing everyone together for a dazzling and exciting event.

Time: May 27th, 2023 (Saturday) 10:30-14:30

Location: BIS

Guests: Families of students attending BIS and external families interested in the event.

Registration fee: 29.9 RMB/child - this includes all our activities.

On the day of the event, BIS will provide light refreshments, and each child can receive a surprise gift bag.

BIS students can enter the event for free and have the privilege of also inviting their friends to participate for free.

We would also like to invite and welcome interested sponsors or exhibitors to participate and join us in this event.

BIS学生表演

准备好在Glow工作室、艺术小巷和Android入侵中进行令人兴奋的工作坊体验吧！

加入紫外线画机器人和Pod赛车，创作自己的紫外线艺术作品，在独特的学生创作街机游戏中玩耍，并在无人机扭曲驱动课程中驾驶无人机。

艺术小巷提供了创作杰克逊·波洛克风格杰作或玩耍真人大小的棋盘游戏的机会，而Android入侵则提供了机器人足球、机甲相扑和建造自己的机器人的机会。

超炫展示区

在活动中，您将被学生创作的多样化装置和展示所震撼。探索精心设计的3D城市地图《我的社区》，或者在《游乐园》中骑上自行车驱动的主题公园游乐设施。
